Well, this is what I did on saturday, the paint had lots of swirls, and oxidation on it, and this was my first time polishing paint, and using the 3401 and the PCXP.

At first I was almost been afraid of putting too much pressure, or spending too much tine in one section, but once I got a good feel of the 3401 and the polish I was using it was much easier.

-Washed with dawn
-Mothers clay
-Mens intensive polish with orange pad on 3401 (5-6 passes)
-Wolfgang finishing glaze on grey pad applied with the PCXP
-(For some reason my friend didn't want us apply the sealer even tho I tried to...)
-Megs gold class applied with grey pad on PCXP.

Here are a coupe pics I took with my cell after we were done, sorry but I forgot to take the before pics...

Next project... My Jeep COmmander... (THat will take a while!!!) :buffing:

Congratulations on your first polish and your 3401! Nice work :xyxthumbs:

Isn't the 3401 a great polisher to use! I love mine and the more I use it the more i like it! It's heavy duty to say the least and there's no doubt it'll provide us with years of use and service!

Nice job on the detail too!! :props:

Nice job! What kind of car is it? I'm trying to look at the grille and I can't tell if it's a Mercedes or Volkswagen. I would also recommend a coat of Optimum Opti-Bond tire dressing to really complete the look.

Thank you! I think that this color was perfect to start with since it shows everything...

Thank you, I really like the 3401 for sure, I actually got the PCXP with 4" pads thinking I was gonna need it for small areas, I have been doing almost everything with the 3401, and only using the PCXP to apply glaze and sealer.

We are not done yet, the tires and wheel will be done for sure, we are gonna do another coat of wax and do all the final touches on it on saturday, since we are taking it to a car show on sunday.
BTW, it is a VW Cabrio, but my friend will be so happy when I tell him that you were thinking it was Benz... :dblthumb2:

Whis my first attempt would look like this!!! Bravo !!
