I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My name is Mike and
I've been using products from Autogeek for years, mainly Pinnacle
products.

I've lurked this forum for some time and I finally decided to join
because I wanted to be part of this wonderful community of fellow
detailers.:dblthumb2:

I wanted to share a couple of pictures of my C63 after a quick detail.

I have s small problem. There are very minor swirl and water marks
scattered over certain areas of my car and I am having a tough time
getting rid of them. Should I clay bar or should I invest in some kind
of polisher?

Thanks in advance.
Mike

welcome! glad to have u here!! always good to have new members 8).. i would say both... try claying the car and see if that comes out..... for the water marks try using vinegar diluted with some water. but as for a polisher.... everyone should have one 8)

welcome pinnacle is the way to go :xyxthumbs: my favorite line...

Vinegar diluted with water? It's true what they say, your never
to old to learn something new. Thanks for the tip.:xyxthumbs:

Any particular polisher in mind? Something for a novice.

Hey! What part of Jersey? And, ahem...your front license plate is missing ;)

Oh, Junion Siti! I'm a half hour or so west of there. Someday we'll get a good meet together around here--or maybe Phil up at DD will give us some warning next time he has an open house.

Well, you've got some other choices, the Meguiar's G110 and the Griot's, as well as the Flex 3401. They all have their pros and cons, I guess. Although a lot of people like kits, a lot of others would suggest you skip that and pick your own accessories.

^
Thanks.

I will look into the others you mentioned too.

If you're new to machine polishing the easiest tool to learn how to use is the Porter Cable 7424XP and it will tackle those swirls no problem....
