Blind Samples

The "Quick Detailer" is Wolfgang Instant Detail Spritz (the non sealant version). This is the first QD I ever bought, and I liked it so much I ordered a large bottle of it. I read about QDs streaking in general on these forums but never ran into this problem with the Wolfgang, even in the hot sun this summer. It is a great product but might not have the same level of gloss as other QDs.

I had a feeling is was a high end QD.

The "Spray Sealant" is Blackfire Deep Gloss Spray. Just like BFWD it is Polycharged and very easy to use. It is formulated to be used with BFWD actually, so I am not sure how its durability is by itself. I use it as a QD after washing with ONR. This one I have experienced some streaking with, though, but it seems easy enough to buff off.

Very happy to try this, it is something that has been on my list of things to try for a long time and I'm glad I got to try it in this manner.

And I hope you enjoy the Ultima WW+. I saw you said you couldn't get it because it was backordered. That is only 2 oz. but consider that it will make four 22 oz. bottles of waterless wash. I would not bother wasting it as a rinseless wash. ONR is much more sensible cost wise. :dblthumb2:

I really appreciate it Chris as its still on back order.

Since he sent you the Blackfire spray sealant I guess I won't now. I'll just toss in the Wolfgang and let you compare them side by side.

At the time I didn't know about more economical QDs like FK425. Still, might be worth picking some up to use with WGDGPS when it goes on sale again.

I really like the Blackfire and am running low on my 16 oz. bottle. It's about time to pick up a refill. My girlfriend will eventually kill me if I keep buying so much detailing stuff.

Not a problem. Let us know how you like it. I personally thought it did a good job on our Prius when it had some light dust.

I had no idea you planned to send the same thing. Sorry about that. As for the WG Spray Sealant, I would like to see a comparison between that and the normal Instant Detail Spritz. Maybe Dwayne can help us with that. :)

BTW, in case anyone is interested, I picked up a cheap little funnel set from Amazon.com that came with a tiny funnel that makes filling these small sample bottles a snap. Search for ASIN B000VW9ZNA.

Don't apologize, I just need to move it off my shelf because it's collecting dust.

I picked up a set from the Dollar Tree. It's excellent for filling sample bottles all the way up to 32oz. bottles.

I just tried the trim protectant that Dwayne sent me. This came at a good time for me as I have been struggling a bit with the black molding that goes around the windows. I've tried a few different brands, but the black molding never looks right. When I washed the car with Perls the other day, it did not mix well with the molding and left streaks where it looks like the soap wasn't rinsed quickly enough?

Anyway, I applied this stuff with a foam applicator, and used a very small amount. I have used Black Wow and this stuff reminded me of that in terms of how little I applied (I have not been happy with Black Wow).

I let the stuff sit for a bit while I washed my wheels. Then I went back and buffed with a MF.

It has only been a couple of hours, but so far I am very pleased with this product! It left the molding looking dark but natural, and it did not leave behind a nasty residue like Black Wow does (and is seemingly impossible to remove).

For the fun of it, I will guess that this is the Poorboys Trim Restorer? If so, that will make two consecutive Poorboys products that I am very happy with, and I've never been a huge fan of many of their products (I don't care for their polishes and Natty's Red did nothing for me).

So Dwayne, do tell! :)

What does it smell like?

Answer Tad and I'm sure he will tell you what it is.

Just got back from testing out the new samples I received from Chris today.

Now on to the Quick Detailer

Green in color and again I can't figure out what the scent is but is smells like something that would taste good :)
We have had some pretty nasty high winds here the last couple days (41mph now) and by leaving my garage door open the Maliblue (that's its name now :) ) got pretty dusty. This is one of the easiest QD I have ever used. No streaking, no smearing and no marring left in the finish. This is something I would consider buying.

Again thanks for the samples Chris, it was fun trying them :dblthumb2:

How did you like this QD compared to the one that you sent me?

Oh no I can't believe you really sent him the Coppertone...J/K

If it smells like coconut sun tan lotion. I would have to say it's probably PB World Trim Restorer.

I like it better for an everyday type QD then what I sent you.

That's exactly what it smells like: coconut sun tan lotion!

See how you are?! HE'S the winner? I guessed it before he did, but do I get any credit? No!!!!

;)

Seriously though, I'm going to have to order this stuff too. Then again, maybe not, this stuff seems to go a long way so even the sample you sent me should last a good while! Im the MAN

Ok Mr.Smarty Pants, tell us what the QD is. I'd tell ya that one too, but Deee would have to kill me if I did:D

Was the cleaner reviled what was used here? This is starting to get confusing! If anyone is still up for some blind samples, send me a PM this looks like fun!

Results of the Interior Cleaner

I was getting ready to toss these old floor mats so this was a perfect time for Richards package (hehehe) to arrive.

Product is clear, has a consistency of water and has a very pleasant and mild scent.

I figured I would get fancy and take some pictures to go along with the "review".

Dirty old and worn out floor mat. The pictures really don't show how dirty is was.

To clean all I did was spray it on and wipe it off with a MF towel. No scrubbing was needed.
As you can see the interior cleaner did a fine job of cleaning that old floor mat.

Would I buy this product? Yes, I really think I would. I have been looking for an interior cleaner for the Malibu that has a very mild scent and this is the answer to that. I think this along with Ultima Interior Guard would be a good combo.

Now on another note, see how bad that floor mat is worn. One would think that at $18 each they would last longer then they did. They have less then 7k miles on them...

Can't share what the cleaner is yet, there are still a couple people that haven't tried it yet.
