I realize I typically don't post my work here, however I thought this car was deserving of some fanfare for its individuality of being the only model in this particular color within the state.

This BMW received my New Vehicle Protection service along with a Clay Bar Treatment. 1100 miles on the odometer & the interior already showing scuffs. Driver's floor mat shampooed with the vinyl being spot cleaned. Full interior protection.

As I am loyal to an outside Chemical company; many of the products used are from an outside source, BUT there are a few from AG as well. :props:

2 bucket method used:

Wash:

DP Extreme Foam Formula Auto Shampoo
Mothers Lambs Wool wash mitt
Guzzler chamois
CG Wheel & Rim Cleaner - Premium Blue
Ferret Wheel brush
Bleche Wite tire cleaner
Clean Wheel Lug Nut Brush
8" Montana Original Boar's Hair Wheel Brush

Clay Bar Treatment:

CG Light Gray (MILD) clay bar
CG Luber
MF towels (yellow, Costco $15 per pack of 30 (thick))

Wash -

Exterior:

Machine applied CG JETseal 109 sealant
Hand applied CG Extreme Depth Liquid Carnauba Wax + X Seal
Meguiars Professional Glass Cleaner (used w/ MF towels this stuff NEVER streaks)
Meguiars Metal Polish
CG Natural Shine Pleasant Matte Shine Dressing

Interior:

DP Carpet Extractor Pre-Treatment
Tornador Car Cleaning Gun - Large for carpet foam/Small for vents & crevices
DP Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner
Lexol Leather cleaner & conditioner
Meguiars Professional glass cleaner
Stoners Fabric Guard

Door Jambs:

CG Express Carnauba Spray & Wipe

I love this color :props:

I always appreciate a clean Bimmer.

Great job Shade Tree

Great job Shade Tree! The paint looks flawless! That's an amazing color as well!

151 views and just 2 comments ........ no wonder I don't post my work here. lol

Very nice work and I completely agree with you: that is a great looking color!

Very NICE!!!!!!! Love that color and the white interior!! Paint looks great....good choice of camera angles to show off your work!!

Sweet color, do you have any full body shots? and don't worry about the views as I believe the forum counts guest who click on a thread as well.

Nice detail work for sure. In that first photo it looks like there's a lot of orange peel. Is that a reflection or the paint?

Yeah, I wondered about the views deal ........ these are the only other pics I have ..... still need a wide angle lens!

I noticed that... People don't comment here that much on other people's work...

I'm going to start putting forth a better effort to do just that ..... guilty. :nomore:

Yeah, that is kind of strange.

I noticed the same thing in my thread on the 57 Ford Pickup.

I never saw your thread ........ but I will! :dblthumb2:

Nice work!! Looks great, and I'm loving the color aswell :)
Thanks!

looks great, love the color, really love the final product.
Yeah, the color really popped after the carnauba application ........ love clean paint.

That's actually the infamous BMW orange peel. Unfortunately it's the standard paint finish for the last several years now. I believe the water based paint has something to do with it, but I'm really unsure.

interesting color ,
nice work.
i may be in lakeway tomorrow and 1-2 days next week

Sweet that car looks great. Yeah I'm pretty sure all forums count guest who click on threads. If you have even been linked to another forum were some one did something incredibly stupid and it goes viral. There are like 3 to 5 pages of about 50 members laughing at said member and yet 1000 views from guest who were linked to it to have a good laugh.

I'm super digging that color.

I suspect my VW has a bit of the "infamous BMW orange peel" that you're talking about Tony. Have you noticed this on any of the new VW golf/gti's? I guess that's assuming that you've done a few of them.
