Which LSP gives the wettest look?

I honestly do not know what "wet" means in this context. I guess it refers to a kind of gloss, but I haven't seen a truly glossy car with clear coat finish that ain't "wet." I'd love to see some comparative photos to help me figure it out.

Anyway, I found that Fuzion applied on DWG leaves a very wet finish, as does Wet Diamond topped with Midnight Sun. Swissvax "Best of Show" also leaves a wet finish and certainly should be rated alongside of Souveran.

I think products that leave oils, e.g.certain glazes and carnubas tend to produce the wettest look.

Just following the rules and what it says in this sticky http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101/913-linking.html

AG can loose business to that other forums store even though they are a sponsor ;)

No disrespect intended here, but ..... just seeking clarification.

I know you tend to quote rules here & there within different threads (as if you're the owner or an infraction affects you directly), however that's why moderators exist on this or any other forum ............

THEY enforce the rules & will edit a post if need be to abide by the rules set in place........... I don't understand why you take it upon yourself to do this all the time. I know of at least one post where you insinuated ownership here so maybe I'm missing something?? :)

I would like to see all of these threads where I do what you say and "claim ownership". LOL that's just too funny.

LOL I think your signature may be against rule #9

Self-promoting clickable links are not allowed in your post

Sorry for the :offtopic::offtopic: everyone ......... this issue has bothered me for a while now.

Let's try this again ........... LOOK ABOVE OR BELOW ...... your response to an earlier question/thread has been quoted.

You really should take the time to read my post before reacting to it.
I stated you've done this "here & there" (not insinuating numerous posts made by yourself as you assume here). The post quoted below, above (you obviously didn't read above) and this current thread would be prime examples of "here & there".

Interestingly, the link you mentioned within this thread as being a "no no" was never removed by admins & remains as of today. Self promoting links, whether it be within a signature or otherwise, are all over this forum. So maybe you could tell us all why they remain ....... especially when moderators & admins are actively posting within the same threads?

I intended for this question to you to be made without any disrespect to you or anyone else in general, however when you respond without so much as READING a post through entirely it becomes disrespectful of you to react without understanding the point being made.

I still hold no disrespect to you. I am being civil & patient with you as I would expect you to be with me.

this issue has bothered me for a while now.

In the post that you quoted above the OP was asking a question and I simply answered it... Sorry everyone, I will no longer be answering any questions because it seems to upset Shady Tree...

I find it funny how this started with Alan and after a couple simple PM's we are cool with each other but then you had to stick your nose in it just to stir things up.

Now that you are searching all of my posts trying to dig up dirt I really want to see where I "insinuated ownership" of this or any other forum.

Your use of the word "WE" as I quoted earlier caused me to believe you may have had some other affiliation with AGO.

This is a public forum, right? As a contributor, reader and member of this forum How am I to know anything transpired beside what was posted? By the way, do you go around handing out speeding tickets to everyone you see breaking the rules ...... er .. law?? Maybe you should let the admins do that here? Just a thought.

Do you really think I'm looking up all of your posts for any information of anything? The only reason I mentioned this & the other is because I was aware of them and they were somewhat recent within the past week. Don't give yourself too much credit...... I'm not as interested in knowing about you as you would like to think. :props:

Did you miss the part of my original post where I said " I know of at least one post where you insinuated ownership " ........... yeah, you did.

You obviously are having a difficult time in involving any amount of common sense here and I'm finished.

Have a nice day. :joking:

Yes I used the word we, as in we the people of the forum... My god dude you read into stuff too much...

Another reason to stay out of it.

No I didn't miss it at all, that's why I asked you to show me the post.

Completely uncalled for and offending.

Maybe I do at times ......... who knows.

I wanted to know what type of person I'm dealing with ......... checking out your profile allows for me to do that. I didn't need to look up your past to determine that though. Uh, you're wrong if you think I did anymore though. LOL.

Completely uncalled for and offending.

That was offending?? :awman:

Obviously, had to respond. :thankyousign:

LOL if that makes you feel better then we will go with that answer

Why do you feel the need to continue with this when I have already explained everything even though I didn't need to explain anything to you??? You need to find a better hobby then starting trouble on discussion forums.

OK I'll stop now and let you get the last word in because I know your type.

Ok, I have to ask :dunno:seriously what's wrong with you??? Seriously??? You say you mean no disrespect, but when I read your post I see disrespect all over it. I have read the post by Dubbin1 that you have so artfully cut and pasted here, and I see absolutely nothing that would indicate to me that he is trying to "insinuate ownership", yes I believe that you are missing something. Dubbin 1 was just being helpful. Many of us who have been here at AGO and have participated regularly for quite some time do feel a sense of ownership, (doesn't mean we are trying to insinuate that we own AGO)just means we are trying to be helpful to others (especially those who haven't been around as long).

Ok.. bringing this back on-topic.

I just finished up a black g37 yesterday and I have to say pre-LSP the paint was already dripping wet and glossy from the jeweling process (ultrafina.)

Some LSP's do have a distinctive look, but from experience I find that the the majority of the wetness/glossyness comes a lot from the type and color of paint used by car manufacturers.

On black and red, most definitely PO85RD for the final prep, followed by either Souveran for a nuba, or WGDGPS/4 Star UPP for a sealant, or both (Souveran on top).

Just my opinion but I think either CG butter wet wax or RT66 hot rod wet wax. For just a carnuaba with no polymers I would say wet obsession or souveran.

Proper prep work is the majority of the battle, but I LOVE CG Buttery Wet Wax.

It is definitely my go-to LSP on details.

I also really like Showroom FX Blaizin Maize and CG M-Seal.

I recently purchased quite a bit of DP products (including Poli-Coat) and I look forward to trying it out.

clay and polish then a nice wax .is all you need. if anything at least use a paint cleaner then wax

i wish i had some Glanz Wax still. i used that on my aunts black hyundai a few summers ago and all i did was a 1 step polish with white pad and Optimum Polish. WOW was it wet looking. i think people forget about Einszett cause it is not in flashy packageing. just my .02
