Does anyone know of any billing/record keeping software that caters to the auto detailing industry?

Thanks!

None taken! I have been running a make shift business for far to long. I plan to use the experties in these rooms to get me to the next level.

just develop yourself a good invoice and use excel spread sheets and databases to tailor it to your needs. ive never used quicken but my parents business does and it does a very good job.

I personally designed myself an invoice in Pages (mac's excel) and just use that.

You're not the only person to notice this. The posts have a :spam4: feel to them.

Gotta love the haters! They keep me motivated. Would it please the masses if I took my signatures off?

Geesh, I finally find a group where I can get feedback and questions answered and I run into guys like you. I guess mom was right.... There's one in every group, well two in this one..... so far!

Just an honest guy trying do honest things!

The members on these boards are certainly willing to help. If they're anything like me, they like to see people paying it forward by helping other members. So far, your first several posts/threads have been asking questions on how to run a business, or what appear at first glance to be shameless plugs for your business. This is a community of people, coming together (online) to share the same passion. I've been a member of several internet forums, and I've seen several people register for the sole purpose of plugging their business. It's not unusual for people to be skeptical of a new member that does this. By no means am I saying that your sole purpose on here is to garner business. I just think most people here are looking for more discussion from you on here.

If you need help in running your business, you might consider taking a few business courses at your local community college. Things are rapidly changing in the business world and for the most part, Universities and professors stay up on changes and trends.

well put.

you aren't going to find much business here. tips and tricks and things of that nature are available by the ton. but clients? not so much. I think you are coming across as a salesman not as someone seeking advice.

So... Let's see.. I asked if anyone knows of a company that can help me do a video/commercial. I then asked if anyone had any information on billing software specific to the detailing industry. Lastly I asked for opinions. Ok! Where and ho have I plugged my business? I know how to run a business just looking for a few ideas to become a little more efficient. I didn't know questions were'nt allowed. Next time don't answer and keep it moving. Like I said, I am an honest guy just trying to learn new ideas and tips from the pros here on the site. If that's you then I look forward to picking your brain as well as sharing my stories and things that we do. Come on.... it's been 4 days since my first post!

Thanks!

Well Put?????

90% of the members aren't in my city. I didn't come here with hopes of trying to get a client. Maybe you've seen it done before and maybe it looks the same, but I assure you it's not.

I have'nt sold myself on here one time. If someone asks for a company in SD I'll respond, but until that happens I am on here to share and learn. Jsut like the rest.

Really? What am I hating on, the lack of information in your posts? Or did I miss something?

Lack of information??? Am I thing first person on this site to ask questions? So my first 3 post were questions. And??? Not sure what kind of people you are, but I am not who you think I am nor am I trying to do what you assume I am. Give it time... you will see!

Have a good day!

I guess I consider spam to be a link to something trying to sell me viagra.

This doesn't seem like a good way to make friends and influence people.

Just looked at the rest of your posts, and 99% of them are about your business or aspects of it. You mentioned that it's been only 4 days since your first post, yet you haven't posted about anything not related to your business. Nobody is trying to jump down your throat, but that does seem rather self-promoting. Just seems you could go about it differently is all. Just my humble opinion, of course.

The way I see it, this will probably wind up being the second thread of yours that gets closed.

Just a thought here, SoCalAutoSpa, but when you have multiple people telling you the same thing about how you're coming across to them, maybe it would be a good time to do some self-evaluation and consider that it's you that needs to change your ways and not everyone else around you as you seem to be insisting so far.

Just sayin'....
