Ultima Waterless Wash Plus Reveiw

First, nice looking truck. :props:

Thanks for the UWW+ review. I have a sample here that I hope to use soon. Of course, it rained over the weekend so maybe I will have a chance to try it on my car today!

I wonder if they'll be coming on BOGO soon?

Good review! :props:

I have to admit that I've never tried any of the Ultima line but I'm reading allot of positive comments regarding their products. I've looked at them and while they're are pricey they appear to work quite well.

You really need to give their products a try. Sure they are pricey but what people don't understand is that you use VERY little product to get the job done. In the end it doesn't cost any more then other products.

I doubt you will see Ultima on BOGO here, I did find a few Ultima products on BOGO on another site a while back. Don't bother asking, they are no longer on BOGO there ;)

Back on the topic of the WW I absolutely love the product.

Exactly!!!

With the majority of Ultima products... If you look at the amount it takes per application and then take into account how long until you need to apply again they are even cheaper then some others. The only question is (if you are only handling a couple vehicles) will you ever use the whole bottle. :) If the answer is no then you have a little extra to share with your buds... :)

The truck looks great, now we just need to convince you to use some UTTG on those tires.

By looking at those tires he likes a very high shine on them that UTTG will not give.

Really??? He likes shiny tires?

But on a serious note, I have used the Croftgate Tire Shine before and did not remember seeing that level of shine on my tires. It seemed to be a darkening, dry sheen to them.

I suggest UTTG because the clean, dry, and dark tires IMO set off the look of a black vehicle. To be shined up that much may be appealing to many, but it may also take away from the attention that would otherwise be focused on the immaculate paint and perfectly polished wheels (the things that set aside the normal person from the true enthusiast IMO). Layering UTTG a few times can build the shine up slightly and give a very appealing look.

Going to have to buy some of this stuff. Looks too good to resist!

That's a really good point Jon, I never looked at it that way. :dblthumb2:

nice glossy paint and wowsers on the tires, talk about gloss. I am not sure brake fluid looks wetter.

Ok I like the idea of not taking away from the shine of the paint but I also look at it as it looks like something is missing when the tires are to muted or a matte finish. I got the shine by spraying liberally and leaving it on for an hour and then wiping any excess that was left off. But yeah generally I like shiny tires as long as it does not SLING. I will put up pics of my wife's mustang tomorrow its red and she likes to tone the tires down a bit. ha ha

Here is the Mustang after a Ultima Waterless Wash cleaning for the parade. I really need to get some before pics but I am usually in such a rush but here goes, the car was last polished in July and is sealed with Optiseal topped with Optimum Spray wax which has been added twice since July this is our daily driver

So does that mean he's got a v6 or does the stang have something crazy under the hood?

I would not say crazy.... more like in the trunk than under the hood.:xyxthumbs:
