Customer wants me to do his boat ?

Ok, I like boats. Especially when they belong to someone else. So in other words my knowledge is limited. I remember in class Mike talked about doing his boat. I have a customer that wants me to do his Intrepid. Do I treat it the same way I would a car?Feed back please

No, you need some compounds, polishes, waxes etc formulated for us on gelcoat.

I have one boat that I detail on a regular basis and you definitely want to ensure you are getting products that are meant for gelcoats. Gelcoats react a little different than a clear coat would.

Here in MA I usually go to West Marine to get my boat supplies. They have a decent selection there, or you can order stuff online.

I personally hate doing boats (especially if they are big). Just seems like a never ending job and if the boat is in the water it's even more of a pain!
