what pads does everyone like?

Do you have any white pads? From what I read people like getting OJ and White pads. One for compounding and other for polishing. I was thinking about getting 2 OJ and 3 White and 1 Blue. Is that enough to get started?

I have 2 standard 5.5" orange flat pads and 2 standard 5.5" white flat pads. I only bought them to test with and compare against CCS pads. For me, I reach for the Cyan and Tangerine Hydro Tech pads for compounding and polishing and gray/black pads for PO85RD. Wax and sealants are applied by hand.

For me, flat and thick, any size, any color Lake Country. The "ultra-fine" European foam pads are a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. They are OK if you want to spend more time to get the same results a thicker pad will give you. Like if you want to spend more time in the garage away from your wife. But for detailing reasons, stick with a thick, flat pad. IMHO.

Tad man you have issues, do we need to sit you down and have a talk about how many pads you really need?

That's funny you saw that. I didn't mean to post it here, and I deleted it. Actually this is what I have left for trade. I've already gotten rid of 25 of them, and I'm keeping about 25 others for the pc...
