Foam gun or bucket

Wow, what a difference.

Take a walk down my street on any nice Sunday afternoon and thats all you see. The gutter turns into an insect bathtub. Of and were cutting our lawns with gas powered mowers as well.

People here in So. Oregon are EXTREMELY ECO-Friendly. We do a lot of Mobile Detailing and people love the fact we can safely wash their car with about 16 ounces of water or so. I would love to use the "Cannon", but in the neighborhoods I go into, I'd probably be putting my life on the line...

Guys,

To help everyone better understand my explanation on how the Home Depot foamer works I took some photos of mine with a few close up...

Hopefully this clears up any confusion.

Great pictures... they help out a lot.

Where did you get the Metal Tube part?

Thanks!

It's the standard stainless steel tube that comes with most pressure washers. I cut it down about a year ago to make getting into those tight spots allot easier. The ends are 1/4 NPT threads so it was a matter of cutting and rethreading then screw on the quick connect.

I just grabbed everything out of the shop to photo and post it here.

Oh OK... it's nice to know that there is something already made, in place of the custom Metal Tube.

Now I just to need to find out if Canadian Home Depot's sell that stuff up here.

French Labelling issues could be a problem for us.

I had a guy on another forum ask if someone in the U.S. can get one for him because of the French labeling. I am headed to Home Depot tomorrow or the next day to grab a few if they have them in stock so I can send him one to Quebec. Even if they arent in stock I will order a few. I would be more than happy to ship one to you at cost if you would like. They are only like $20.00 U.S.

My Mom and Dad are going to Arizona for 2 Months. If I can't find one here, I'll get them to bring one back for me.

Thanks for the offer.

was at my local home depot today and by accident i had this in my hands today and said to myself ( why wouldn't this work for a foam bath as in auto use)..they were $17.97 each...and they had like 10 or 12 if you all get jammed up let me know. Now that BobbyG has shown how this thing hooks up im sold!

Yea I'm getting it for Christmas haha. They have them and the wands at my local Home Depot. I was there on Saturday buying some spray bottles and made sure they had this too. I just got my pressure washer last week. I got one from Lowe's that was on sale.

Yea they have the best spray bottles for the price. They're 96 cents a piece. They also sell the 5 Year warranty Chemical resistant bottles for $5 a piece. I'm satisfied with the 96 cents bottles. They're way better than Walmarts crap.

Which pressure washer did you buy from Lowes? Better than home depots choices?

I got a cheap one. I only plan to use in on cars. It was regularly $100. I paid $50. They had one that was regularly $180 and it was on sale for $120.

Just part of the reason we're all here!! :props:

But that video was a nice addition to this thread!! :props:

Is there anything special about the soap to use in these home depot foam guns? I have some Optimum and Wolfgang soap. Or do I need to use soap specially made for this use?

Any car soap will work. Some will foam better than others though.
