hey guys! recently just offered to clean my aunts mini van before I realized the mini van was trashed by her three boys. do you guys have any tips on how to clean the seats and carpets? i usually use MEGs apc and a carpet brush if needed but i have never had to deal with a car this filthy.
thanks for your help with my road paint question. I appreciate all your help.

When i get really bad carpets I will mix up a batch of APC at like 10 to 1 dilution but use "hot" water from the tap. This does a good job unless you're dealing with cool-aid stains. In the cool-aid case, there is a red dye remover product that you can get at janitorial supply stores for that.

I have heard detailers rave about Folex but haven't tried it yet. It can be bought at most grocery stores near where they sell the oven cleaners and Tarn-X and stuff.

carpet cleaning for beautification, and the removal of stains, dirt, grit, sand, and allergens can be achieved by several methods, both traditional and modern. Clean carpets are recognized by manufacturers as being more visually pleasing, potentially longer-lasting, and probably healthier than poorly maintained carpets

I use CG Lightning Fast Stain Extractor. It works very very well IMO and dries nicely too.

:iagree: Pretty much sums up my feelings ^ Only thing I would add is you don't won't to flood with water. Alot can be accomplished just using minimal amounts of water, apc and lots of elbow grease. I believe AG carries elbow grease in quarts and gallons
