Here's a couple pics of a Harley I did this summer.

The windshield looked like the wind deflector leaning on it. I think they were cleaned with a Brillo pad. Also both wind deflectors came out as good as the windshield.

This shot is without using any medium or fine polish to refine it. But that before side.... Wow was it ugly. The panel came from a junkyard. I got it for a review I was doing.

"A certain favorite sealant of mine"?

Is it a secret?

Not as emphatic as many of the others, but this is my personal favorite. I was in the process of following Mike Phillips' single -stage paint restoration process, using Meguiar's #7 Show Car Glaze. This shot was taken after 4 vigorous hand applications of #7,and a rotary buff with M80. Considering I had absolutely no gloss whatsoever following attempts with numerous compounds and polishes, I was absolutely tickled with the eventual results.

What did you use on the paint? I've found the fiberglass CC to be medium hard and polishes up nice with darn near any process. Vivid Black on the tin is about the most miserable soft clear I've seen. Tin & the fiberglass get sprayed at different plants so I guess that accounts for the difference.

I've finally been able to get the black on the tin to finish well but wiping it with the plushest of MF leaves marring. I now remove polish and wax/sealant residue with a WW & FK125. Only way I've found to prevent instilling marks. Moot point, next time you walk by it or breath on it you've undone your work.

bought the stock hood off a body shop owner that didn't cover it for 1.5 years when a non-paying client didn't pick up his parts. explains the overspray.

Thats all overspray?! I thought that was dust or debris from buffing

Wow! Some AMAZING transformations in here! I should have some to put up tomorrow of the Accord I am starting tomorrow. The car has not been washed in over two years. Ugh!
