2001 Porsche Carrera-Luxury Mobile Auto Detailing
I was contacted by the owner of this Porsche to inspect it for a paint correction. He had just purchased the car from his brother for his wife. It was a 2001 with only 35,xxx miles. After inspection and test spot we opted for a two step correction using M105/Orange Pad, M205/White Pad. LSP was Wolfgang Fuzion. The interior just needed a quick clean up and the leather was cleaned and conditioned.

Meg20 (sealant for exhaust and rims and windows)
Meg Water Based Dressing
Meg40 Vinyl and Rubber
Wolfgang Leather Conditioner
Stoners Invisible Glass

On to the pictures…
Washed, and pulled into the garage to be taped up and inspected

A few 50/50’s of the passenger door

Rear spoiler area took smaller pads and even some finger pads

Rear all cleaned up

Afters the motorcycle in the background is a 2005 Victory we also cleaned up for him)

Engine was cleaned using MegAPC and various brushes and then dressed with MegWaterBased Dressing

Any comments, questions, suggestions are welcome. Total time was about 14 total hours.

Very nice results...how did they let a Porsche get swirled that bad?

Great job! That thing was ugly before. I like the paint color and the chrome wheels really set it off. My only suggestion, pick up a roll or two of 3M green 1/4'' tape for body seams. I buy mine at NAPA.

It was in pretty rough shape, and whatever protection was on it before did a great job of hiding it. I agree about the wheels and the color really complementing each other.

Get a tripod and better lighting. Pics look too bright and washed out. Simply use post production tools to soften and sharpen the shots, and you'll be set!
