Are there any other products out there like Rain-X?

Awesome info guys. I will look into both products. We are actually getting rain here in San Diego!

I like the Aquapel Glass Treatment & Rain Repellent

We use wax... But when trying to upsell my clients it seems to be eaiser to use a product made just for the job.

I tell them I'm putting a repellent on their windows, if they asked for the brand I tell them whatever brand wax or sealant I'm going to use, aquapel for me lasted about as long as rain x, while sealant seems to last a lot longer, optimum spray car wax is the easiest approach atleast for me

Aquapel is great for windshields, however if you're looking for something quick, easy, and surprisingly durable, I have had good luck using both Duragloss Aquawax and Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax on exterior glass.

I had picked up Turtle wax rain repellent which was easily available locally(as I was curious to try a dedicated product)

It really was a breeze to apply and remove!(I had clayed the windshield prior to repellent application)

And during the rains, my dad was super impressed by it(had used it for trial purposes on my dad's car) I too saw the drops just flying off while driving in the rain!

Though I still use sealants on my glass, but its kinda good to have a dedicated product!

There was a product called Rain Vision manufactured by North American Oil Co.. Blue Magic bought NAOC but conttinues to offer this product in a 4 oz. blister pack and in towelette foil pouches. I sold Rain Vision and always used it on my cars. Its superior sheeting action eliminates the need for wipers at any speed over 40 mph, less than that, water beads off and it's long lasting!

DG Rain repel, opti seal, fk 218 or a list of other sealants
