Autogeek + St. Jude + You = WIN

You boys are causing me to have a sleepless night :dig:

I have a few ideas as to what to do, but am open to suggestions :help:

What a great thing everybody has done here! So I went thru this thread again and the forum donated a good amount of money!

Megan-$100

LegacyGT-$500 and got the banner!

jpegs13-$500

tfullercdi-$50

SeaJay's-pledged $20-30 lets say & $25

DarkHorse-$75

CeeDog-$75

dad07-$50 did not post my donation

WeastEnd-made donation but did not disclose amount

so thats $1,375.00

and I think the scull candy is still out for 2300 russian rubles

I might say I had more fun watching you guys bid for this stuff. You all are awsome!!!:applause:

Let me put everybody's fears to rest regarding the I.R.S.
There is no problem here. There is no "value", to the banner or the wax.
They were both donated as "give aways" and have little or no value.
What the IRS is concerned about is, as an example, you bought a ticket to donate $500 to St. Jude's and you won a car, the IRS wants the tax on the value of the car, minus the payment to St. Judes.

We're all safe, I promise.

As long as this is indeed true, then I am proud to announce Legacy is the proud new owner of a Limited Edition Autographed Autogeek Banner. I apologize for just responding to this, I would rather be a bit late and get it right, then jump the gun and get it wrong. I literally didn't sleep well last night with this decision on my mind

Thanks goes to everyone who participated in this event. It would be nice if this could become an annual event with other vendors donating stuff too

:thankyousign: :thankyousign: :thankyousign: :thankyousign: :thankyousign::thankyousign:

That would be awesome! I sure hope we have a bunch of items or packages to bid on next year:hungry:

Oh yea, it looks like Cee Dog is the proud new owner of the Skull Candy :hungry:

Funny....When Meghan said she was giving away the candy on her desk I literally thought she meant candy that you eat. I'm telling you folks, I'm a quart low on brains :o

Thanks again everyone. This was Super Fun :thankyousign:

Update:

I was expecting an AG box today ... but I found on my door step tonight two nicely stacked boxes. I was a bit confused as to why they would have split my order so I opened the smaller box:

Inside there was a small plastic bundle:

The banner arrived! Im the MAN Im the MAN Im the MAN

I had PM'd Meghan on a status update, and Max was out sick (hopefully better now) so it took a few extra days to ship.

So in all it's glory, here it is.

Special thanks to Flash for putting together such a wonderful charity auction (looking forward to next year) and to AG for being a customer focused and all around wonderful company. Also Thanks to Jpegs13, a very generous forum member.

How cool is that :)

I agree. Jpegs is an awesome guy and so are you and everyone else who contributed there hard earned money to this worthy cause

Thanks for giving me credit for this, but the truth is, without Meghan, Max, Mike, Matt, Dwayne, John, Jason, Penny :), and Nicolle this would not have been possible :goodjob2:

Nice. :xyxthumbs:

Very nice indeed :thankyousign:
