Hi all. I'm in Tulsa Oklahoma. I don't currently do any professional detailing, but I used to when I was younger. I know how to run a buffer and everything, but it's been so long since I've used one, that I don't remember all of the products to use and no doubt they're all different now. I used to use McGuire's exclusively. I don't have any interest in doing it for anyone else but my self. However, I want to do the best I can with what I have on my own cars. I currently have a Northern Industrial high speed buffer that I bought a while back because it was cost effective for me. Anyway, hopefully I can get back to understanding the ins and outs.

Hi Doug,

Thankfully the detailing industry has been changing for the better a lot in the last 10 or so years...

It takes a lot less talent, skill and experience to create a show car finish than it used to just due to advancements in abrasive technology, pad technology and machine technology...

Hello to stlhrse and t's150. I am also in Tulsa. There are a few other Oklahoma folks on this forum. However, I must admit that although my body is in Tulsa, my heart is still in Fort Worth TX.

Hello from Cailfornia, check out Mike Phillips tutoring links when you have the chance, a great guide for the latest and greatest when comes to detailing products and equipment.
