I have talked to Duragloss support and they say it diminishing abrasives. I have used it on my white Audi with DG601. It comes out great.I've done many vehicles with #501 including both of ours. Think of it as Klasse AIO at a reduced price. It has more chemical cleaning agents (not abrasive) but leaves sealant behind. #105 has less cleaning agents but more sealant. Both clean the surface but #501 simply has more cleaning power. Use it with confidence, it's a great product.
And when I spoke with them I was told no abrasives! They make great products but their lineup and poor choice of wording (they are all labeled polish and seems that they are all AIO's of one type or another) still confuses. Not to mention different stories about the contents depending on who you speak with. Perhaps someone at Autogeek can contact them and get definitive answers on this line of "polishes" that really aren't?
Whatever they choose to call them I have never been disappointed in any of their products. #501, #105, and Aquawax are mainstays for me.

Great products, but really annoying not to be able get straight answer from manufacturer.
Call and speak with Jerry. I had a conversation with him about this specific product and his words exactly "You can polish your car with it everyday and not worry about removing paint". If you want to flash the sealant properties in it, use #601 first or mixed at 1:4.
Here's one (of many) previous 501 discussions I found using search:

Another DG question for another car I maintain.
Do all DG polishes, #501, 105, 111, 101 ... require cure times?
I'm considering a combo on a car that has minimal correction requirements something like: clay + 101 + glaze + carnuba
Would I have to wait for the #105 or #101 to cure before applying a glaze (CG's EZ-Creme)?
I believe that there is a 2hr cure time when using 601. Otherwise I think the cure time is 12hrsIn all honesty you may want to call Duragloss and tell them you have a technical question. Tell them your plan and don't be afraid to ask questions. But, I do know that you can lay down a thin coat of #601 Polish Bonding Agent and flash cure the above polishes and they will be ready for your next product. :xyxthumbs:

I did not use definitive answers because I have had factory reps say one thing to me and something different to somebody else. At any rate allowing a little extra cure time can't hurt. Better safe than sorry. This is why I recommend people to call the manufacturer of products. I'm not going to agree or disagree with you.
