Okay guys, so the other week I ordered a Autogeek Chemical Resistant Pressure Sprayer with Double Barrel Attachment. I took it out of the box and stuff and put some water in it just to check it out in the kitchen sink. The sprayer itself is a good sprayer and has good pressure from what I could tell. I figured I'd take the Double Barrel Attachment and put it on and see if it worked too. With the normal sprayer nozzle on, you pump and press the trigger when you want to sprayer to spray. Well, I put the attachment on and started pumping it and it started spraying! I took it apart to check if anything was wrong and nothing was that I could tell. I was slightly angry that it would only work when pumped. Also if I pumped too much, it wouldn't stop unless twisting it off. The trigger was useless with the attachment on. So, is this normal? If it's not then it kind of irritates me by rendering the trigger useless. Hope you all could tell me if this is normal or not. I can make a video for everyone to look at if you don't get what I'm saying.
I'd just like Feed back please

Are you saying without the extension (attachment) on the sprayer, the sprayer will build pressure (when pumped) and hold pressure until you press/pull the trigger to release the water.
Then with the extension (attachment) on the sprayer, the water will spray everytime you pump it and it won't hold pressure. As in with the extension on,the trigger is useless?

Yeah with the default tip it works like its supposed to, holding pressure and releasing some when you pull the trigger. Then with the DB attachment it holds no pressure and just sprays when you pump.

The end of the barrel that attaches to the spray bottle should have a pinkish colored rubber washer with a small pin hole in the center, if not look in your packaging to see if it fell out.

Looks like this,

There's a recessed area where the rubber washer fits into...

I actually have a question about these sprayers. I've considered getting one, but figured it was basically the same thing as something as a chemical sprayer you can pick up at Lowes Shop Roundup 2-Gallon Deluxe Plastic Tank Sprayer at Lowes.com.

Is there any benefit to the sprayers that AG sells?

Sorry to kind of throw this thread off topic, but I think Mike answered your question. Again, sorry for the off topic question.

Sure enough, it was missing it! I can't check the packaging as it's in the local garbage somewhere haha. I'll be sure to call Dwayne tomorrow. Thanks for the help!

Jason I think that the AG one has a higher pressure to it. The Round Up one is meant for spreading weed killers and such, where you wouldn't need much pressure. I doubt the one from Lowe's has quite as much spraying power.

Yeah I figured it had something to do with the pressure, but wasn't sure. Thanks!

It has nothing to do with the amount of pressure it can hold. Pressurized spray bottles are all constructed the same way and are ment to hold pressure. How they differ is in design. ex. release valve, materials, seals.

The Lowes or any other home improvement types are your typical sprays that are not chemcial resistant and have regular seals that they do no hold up well to strong acids or caustic chemicals. However, they do carry some chemical resistant pressurized sprayers with Viton seals such as the pressurized bleach sprayers.

I've been using Homedepot ones for over a year now with Zep industrial degreaser, Zep Citrus, ONR..etc and have yet to have one failure yet. I'm surprised because Zep industrial degreaser is some caustic stuff and kills my hand sprayers but not my pressurized sprayers.

Thanks for the info! I'm not going to break down and buy one yet. I don't really have a need for one right now as my spray bottles seem to work just fine. Was just curious as to what the difference is.

What Last Hope said is true as well. I looked at the round up one and it only seems to just have fan tips? So I don't think you can hit a certain spot, as it's meant for spreading.

They come with two different tips. A normal spray tip and a fan tip. :xyxthumbs:

Ahhh, then it would be somewhat good then. It holds a lot of liquid too! I'll stick with the AG one though! :dblthumb2:

Yeah I have a different model than the one I posted up that I use for weed killers and stuff about my house. And it has 4 different tips that came with it. 3 different fan tips and one normal spray tip for concentrated areas.

Called Dwayne earlier and he set it straight with me! :xyxthumbs:
