I've never heard of a Chevy Malibu garage queen. Well, at least not with the new age Malibus.

(insert scratching head smiley)I guess I only wonder why they didn't dilute it from the factory if it would last as long. Im the MAN
To take your well earned money? :laughing:I guess I only wonder why they didn't dilute it from the factory if it would last as long. Im the MAN
Hmmm...but don't you think they made it in a gel for a reason? What reason would they have to not dilute it and make it a spray if it worked just as well as the gel? They could make more money and have a better product. I'm not saying your wrong, just playing devil's advocate.Because they were making a Gel not a spray on product... Even Optimum recommends diluting the Opti-Bond.
But if we don't know it's dilluted they could charge the same, so in reality they would make more money. They only way they would lose money is if they sold it in the gel form and told us to dillute it.To take your well earned money?

I suppose the current trends in detailing do have alot to do with it.Because Gel products are the "In" thing now a days.
Hmmm oh yeah haha. I had a blonde moment even though I'm not blonde lolBut if we don't know it's dilluted they could charge the same, so in reality they would make more money. They only way they would lose money is if they sold it in the gel form and told us to dillute it.
It's all good, happens to the best of us! lolHmmm oh yeah haha. I had a blonde moment even though I'm not blonde lol
I can confirm that you do NOT sacrifice durability by diluting Opti-Bond 1:1. In fact, I get much greater durability by doing 2 applications of Opti-Bond 1:1 rather than 1 application of Opti-Bond straight. And obviously it uses the same amount of product in the end.
Now this I totally agree with. I loathe having to use gel tire dressings because I end up needing to use so much product to get full, even coverage on the tire.I don't think you would considering the spray alone uses much less product. A couple squirts and the tire is covered enough to wipe down.
How much of each do you you use in the 1:1 ratio? 10 oz of each?I can confirm that you do NOT sacrifice durability by diluting Opti-Bond 1:1. Doesn't matter as long as it's 1:1
