Glass cleaner for interior and exterior

I've yet to try Sprayway, so I may need to pick some up!

Meg's Glass Cleaner is a great value as it makes 10 gallons of solution, cheaper than vinegar. It is also the best glass cleaner I have used, and one of the most versatile cleaners too.

If you start with one gallon of concentrate and mix it at the recommended 10:1 ratio, you get ELEVEN GALLONS.:dblthumb2:

^ haha, yep.

megs is great stuff! i was hesitant at first because i had been using stoner for a while, but it really is better, let alone an incredible value.

tip - use distilled water for your mix!

Thanks guys,

Had I seen all the DP recommendations in the thread I would have added a sample to my order.

I am very interested in the Meg's glass cleaner , but the gallon is too much for me at the moment, especially before I get a chance to test it.

I decided to buy a bottle of the 3M glass cleaner. I have been hearing great reviews from overseas. I like the face that it is a foam that will stick to the interior window's. Its also tint and plastic safe.

Honestly MG6045,
Go to Walmart and try out Stoners Invisible Glass Cleaner with a MF towel and you wont bother with anything else. I have a few different brands and when a detail comes up I'll panic if my can is empty, so i buy'em in bulk..IMO :xyxthumbs:

Since no one has mentioned this, some people use ONR for interior glass (and non-porous interior cleaning, as well, IIRC). Not sure if the dilution is different.

EDIT: I found something that recommended ONR at the QD dilution for cleaning glass, but IIRC since OID and OOC ONR isn't labeled for QD-duty anymore. I'm really not sure what dilution people are using for this.

I use Stoners Invisible Glass. When I ran out I had 2 bottles of DP Krystal Vision from deals when AG would give you a bottle with a certain order so I've been using DP Xrystal Vision ever since. Haven't had a single problem with it. I like it very much.

When I run out I will still prefer the Stoners though. Foam aerosol, price, etc... Allthough I'm not sure price is actually cheaper since the bottle of DP lasts so long.

I use Plexus on my interior driver and passenger window for the tinted surface.

When doing interior glass (windshield) I spray the glass cleaner on an MF glass cleaning towel and then apply to avoid oversray.

A neat common sense tip I saw here and adopted... I think it was from A4.1 : Wipe interior glass in either horizontal or vertical only and wipe exterior glass in the other direction. This will allow you to know which side of the glass has a smear if you run into one.

I've used Invisible Glass for a while and was generally pleased. After seeing a lot of pros using Sprayway I gave it a try and prefer it. Cheaper, streak-free and available all over the place.

If I was using a LOT of window cleaner I'd definitely go with the Meguiar's Detailer Line concentrate.

I agree! Did the same thing!:dblthumb2:
