Today I helped a friend out by washing/waxing his car. When he usually bring his car to a car wash when needed. I just charged for materials used.

I started around 1 and had a little help from friends. I wanted to power wash the car but when I got there I think it broke. So we started on the wheels with Super Degresser and cleaned all 4 wheels and tires.

I then washed the car with Meguiar's Gold class soap. Filled 2 bucket with Grit Gruad.
Washed it from Top to bottom.

Then clayed the whole car with Meguair's white clay with Last Touch 1:1 dilution.
While I was claying they were vacuuming and wiping windows down.

I polished a small area to show my friend that the swirls can be removed.

I used Klasse high gloss sealant with the DA, took awhile to get use to applying thin layers.

Finally I applied some wax with DA that my friend got from an auto show called Simply Z Best. Applying and removing was real easy.

Then dressed tires and packed up.

Yeah I think there were some fillers in it. It def hide a lot of thw swirls after I klasse then simply z best it.

Non-abrasive formula with 20% more swirl remover.

Interesting.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

Well, if the SG stuck on top of what was left from your GC wash, I'm sure that Simply-Z-Best took it right off! I think I'm a couple of months away from having the hose out again, and more snow coming on Friday.

Doesn't klasse require 8-12 hours to bond before being topped with anything including itself?

Looks like you've got a Griots DA there. How do you like it? Is that a lamb leveling pad and some kind of red bonnet for the buffout?

I think in the perfect scenario you should wait 8 hours to cure but I didn't have time to let it cure to finish it off with wax.

I really like the DA it really user friendly and I have many use for it.

Lamb leveling pad?

The red thing is 7 inch Kompresser pad, I don't really like it much because little pieces keeps falling out when buffing.

Yeah well I hope I didn't take the sealant off. I applied it with a red finishing pad at speed 3. I just wanted to put down some protection for these harsh months.
