Wait a minute--a metal polish that doesn't leave black residue?? You have to explain that.
OPT old formula does NOT leave black residue, which is why i have 3 bottles of it now. IMO, there old formula is the best metal polish available for getting super clear results on exhaust pipes and metal. It may not be the strongest cleaner, but if your parts are fairly well maintained , they produce better clarity than any other product I have used.
I HATE metal polish that leaves black residue's !!! HATE THEM ! they are messy and then you usually have to use a product like OPT metal polish to clean off the black reside that gets hung up on tough to reach area's.

Every metal polish I've ever used produced a black residue as it removed oxidation on aluminum. I was astounded when I tried the old formula, pink OPT Metal Polish! Yeah, the polish darkens while you work it and produces a black spot on the rag. But no gobs of black crud obscuring what you're working on! As soon as I received it I tried the metal polish out on an already polished piece of aluminum that I really didn't expect any improvement on. Improvement I got. So I tried a spot on uncoated motorcycle wheels that weren't too bad but needed some attention. Intending just for a look-see I was so pleased with the results I didn't stop until the wheels were done.
If the new, blue formula OPT Metal Polish is a serious improvement over what it replaced it must really be incredible!
