problem with pc 7424

Lately my 7424 has been bogging down with very little pressure. I've only had it for about a year and half. I dont do detailing full time, so it doesnt really have alot of hours on it. Any idea what the problem might be ?

Has it done this since you bought it? Did you switch pads or products recently?

Dual action polishers like the PC7424 have a safety mechanism that stops rotation when excess resistance is there.

is it pc 7424 or is i pc 7424xp? what size pads? how much pressure? all this effects how your pc will work.

Brushes was my first thought. I used the have RC cars with electric motors and new brushes made a huge power and torque difference.
Can brushes be changed on the PC. My Griot's came with an extra set of brushes.
 
No..I havent changed the pads...always used lake country. I just started noticing it about a month ago. It doesnt take much pressure at all to bog it down.
