Cobraa........Have you tried Max Wax? Just wondered if it is pretty descent wax, especially on a BOGO....I have tried several other DP products, but nothing really wowed me.....let me know please

Cobraa........Have you tried Max Wax? Just wondered if it is pretty descent wax, especially on a BOGO....I have tried several other DP products, but nothing really wowed me.....let me know please

Wendell, I have many waxes for reference, including some "high end" waxes and I can tell you that DP MaxWax is a GREAT wax, especially for the price. I would consider it a "poor man’s" Souveran. It is very similar to Souveran in terms of; ease of application and removal, looks, and even smell. As far as durability I would say it lasts a little bit longer (Souveran really isn't very durable)... MaxWax is a great value on BOGO

I use some of the less expensive waxes on jobs that just want a wash and wax as compared to a customer who wants a Full detail, then I use a premium wax, such as Fuzion, Souveran,Pinnacle line. Good info thanks
Just kinda torn between getting the New Megs Wax, New XMT 180 or Max Wax........sure wish DODO would have a sale.

Yeah I hear ya about loving "my waxes" man! My wife might even tell you I love them a little too much..lol. But seriously MaxWax is a great wax, and I can't imagine that you wouldn't like it. It goes on/off just like Souveran. I have both MaxWax and the original fromula XMT180 (which I gave away) and I would recommend the MaxWax over it. BTW (I couldn't resist) here is a picture of the newest members of my nuba collection...

VERY VERY decent for the price. it's awsome. if you own a detailing business or sideline. IMO, being wowo saves you some times, easy to apply, so you don't have to fight the wax while working on a customer car which is a great + and it last, at least 2 months, usually people are happy to see their paint bleeds after 8 weeks

The limited edtion is an excellent wax. It will haze quickly and can be layered as well. I got the max wax on bogo and the limited edition and they are both excellent products. The limited edition looks awesome with a real nice gloss and makes the metallic really pop.

I also purchased the XMT180 limited edition. I have only used it one time so far, but it goes on very easily, hazes quickly and wipes off with little effort.

The end result was very good with a real nice gloss.
I never used the original version, but this is a very nice product for the money. I used it on white paint and hopefully in the near future will be able to see what it does on metallics and brighter colors.
