Yes there is a video floating around that we made of waterless washing (thats what we call it out here in the west). I'm nothing special. I'll wash cars, polish for 50 hours or whatever it takes to make an honest living and put food on the table.

I did ALOT of aircraft in Monterey Bay ....... ever do work out there?!?!?!

That's a lot of MF'ers! I thought washing a couple dozen plus about a dozen pads yesterday was a lot. Considering it was mostly from one F150 I detailed it was a lot for me; the truck is an 03 and had never been polished, had to be compounded/polished. Do you use the same method for the wheels as well? That VW had some nasty ones!

No, I haven't had the pleasure.

Probably nothing compared to L.A. - miss Cali to death though man! Use to be a mile from the beach and two miles from some awesome mountains to go biking on! Sometimes wish I never left - but Tennessee is my home.

The VW got the degreaser treatment first then went over with the drywash - they were pretty bad..... the lady was great and tossed an extra $10 for the job (not bad)..... the 350Z was cleaned with glass cleaner and 91%ISO ALC - I like to use a foaming glass cleaner on rims because it is non aggressive yet affective at removing any lite impurities - the ALC takes out all streaks and brightens them up quite a bit!

By the way - Im talking about the rims here - not the paint lol ...... just realized it sounded like I cleaned the ENTIRE 350Z with foaming glass cleaner and alc lol! And no, I didn't put degreaser all over the VW.... only the rims lol!

Anthony, that's allot of work but the results are outstanding! I too would like to know more about this Drywash system you use...:props:

Glad to see your are staying busy!

FWIW I think you can talk about other products on this forum, you just can't link to other vendors, but don't quote me on that, I'm not 100% sure.

For those of you asking what product and to PM you, I mean no disrespect for not PMing you but the only reason I don't give out the product I use is out of respect for AG here. This forum is awesome and I have bought some items from here..... but this particular item is not offered at AG yet. They may have a similar system or product, but until they do offer it I will not go into detail within their forum. I hope you guys understand......

May I ask what this product you're discussing is? Would you PM me too?

I will adopt the same attitude in respect to Autogeek.

Good stuff man - thanx for agreeing with me there!

I posted these pics of today's detail for those that are concerned with marring in regards to drywashing.... never had an issue with it - black would show above all.... and this is the second black vehicle in 2 days that I have done with this method. :dblthumb2:

What part of Tennessee you in?

Middle TN - Nashville and surrounding areas.

What do you do as far as tires? Just dress them?

No - Degrease them and the wheel wells with spray and a MF....... then dress. I think most that have been using water their whole lives get shocked with how much one can do with chemicals and by hand.
