I'm looking for an experienced paint correction specialist to buff out some light (clearcoat) scratches on my car and interior trim (which also has minor clearcoat scratches). I'd like someone who has had some experience in paint and knows it's properties well. Also, it would be a HUGE plus if you had a paint thickness meter. Now I know this isn't rocket science but I've had some bad experiences with detailers in the past and want to make sure I get someone who knows a good bit about paint and what they are doing. The idea is that I would have the car prepped and ready for buffing and all the detailer has to do is come in and buff the car, the car will be washed, dried, and clayed. Once buffed I will then seal and wax the car. Now I know what some of you are thinking, "will the car be prepped to my specifications?", well rest assured, I am SUPER anal about getting my car clean. I wash and dry my car by hand every 2 weeks, and usually seal and wax the car every few months. I have an air conditioned garage and plan on getting buffing down by the end of this year.
If you're interested in helping me out this would be a great way to make a bit of money without committing the whole day to one project and you'd be helping a fellow detailing enthusiast out at the same time. Thanks a bunch for your time.
