B&B would you care to post your technique? You obviously have considerable experience using these as a wash replacement. Just curious as to how others use the product.
Method.......
1)First I hit tires and wheel wells with degreaser/or APC.
2) Then clean rims (depending on what type of rims) with APC, drywash product, or even sometimes a foaming glass cleaner.
3)Dress tires and wells
4) Doing a panel at a time I spray drywash product on..... lightly take off in a horizontal motion with one MF and buff with other hand and dry MF. For very soiled vehicles I spray excess product on panel and lightly remove, then I repeat the process as stated above. Despite those that say it mars the paint, I have not had that issue...... then again I am careful and closely look at each panel before doing these steps. Plus 99% that cry wolf on drywash have never used it or did not use it properly.
5) Using same product I hit door jams next
6) Then I do trim extra at no cost as long as it isn't excessive - makes a big difference and makes the customer happy.
7) Then I hit glass with glass cleaner.
Done within 30 to 90 minutes depending on size and filthiness of car. Again though, as long as you are careful, use the proper method, and use common sense, you won't mar the paint.
