DetailFest Longest Distance Award!

Going to be a 786 mile drive according to Google maps. Hope the Olds will make it!


 
Thanks Mike, I may take up your offer too, lol. Personally, I think a group of us needs to head to Cowboy's on Friday and chow down! :hungry:
 
right well, seems i am coming 4373 miles according to:
City Distance Tool - Find the distance between 2 cities

and one of our esteemed detailing fans is coming along for the ride. so i would be able to put him forward as he is not an employee of Dodo Juice. BUT he does like coming to international shows - was at Automechanika in Frankfurt last year too.

the Dodo is excited and can't wait to visit 8) plus factory outlet shopping, spare parts for the chevy and some other bits, day visit to the Sebring Race Track (5 days late) and see some of the detail kings stateside. WHAT COULD BE BETTER!

I will be driving down. Googlemaps says it is 718 miles.

That Olds isn't bad to drive... I used to have one almost exactly like it.

Shane, how many miles does yours have on it?
 
Im coming from lancaster pa. Not to sure how far it is, but it will be fun!

Yeah, it will be interesting, I'm sure. I think the longest drive I've had in it was an approximately 3 hour drive to Murfreesboro. Thankfully my dad is coming with, so we will switch off with the driving. Also just put new Michelin Harmony tires on it, which makes it ride a whole lot better. It has just under 138,000 miles on it.
 
I have 6.3 miles to drive (just over the bridge in Palm City).
 
Well, it looks like, according to google maps, 1725 miles.
 
Can someone following this thread do the math and keep a running tabulation of the long distance award winner for driving and flying?

Behind the scenes it's getting very busy for everyone here... hard to keep up with all the threads on the forum...

DetailFest just happened to happen at the same time as our planned vacation in Orlando/Ft Lauderdale...how convenient!

We actually landed in Orlando @ 9:30 last night.
