Motrin is the only thing that works for me. I need surgery on both wrists but that ain't happening anytime soon....
Do you take glucosamine? It has really helped my knees and back.
If you don't know what it is, its a vitamin that restores the 'sponginess' to the cartilage in your joints.
Get a desk job. I have very bad carpel tunnel in both arms. I was told to stop detailing.
stretching techniques to help lessen your symptoms and recommend other things to help lessen your symptoms.

I know a few people with desk jobs that ended up with carpal tunnel syndrome...
Have you considered wrist supports?
At this point in life, I would love a desk job. Do you know of anyone that will hire a grumpy old dude :bolt:
Find a good Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist that is used to working on hands and depending on how bad your carpal tunnel syndrome is they may be able to show you some self stretching techniques to help lessen your symptoms and recommend other things to help lessen your symptoms.
I agree,
I work at a corrugation plant and carpal injuries are a hot issue right now. We had a PT come in and show us different stretching techniques. I'll see if I could get something emailed to me and I'll forward it to you.

I have tried anti inflammatory drugs, stretches, creams, wrist wraps. Nothing helped the least little bit. The only that works for me is not polishing.
It is so bad that it wakes me up at night or starts to hurt while I am holding on to the steering wheel as I drive. Surgery is an option but my doctor said that if it didnt work I would be worst off with scar tissue and all.
I just take it easy. I spread my buffing sessions out.
Hopefully we can both find a nice cushy deskjob oneday.....maybe somewhere like Autogeek [/COLOR][/B]
