Black (Soft,Soft) Paint

Glad u got it figured out. Amazing how different paint systems react to different products, techniques and machines.

I had a very similar issue with my Malbec Black G37, I just dropped it off at a pro because everything I tried ended up with marring during the wipe down.

Maybe someday Ill look into the pad/polish combo you tried. I would like to know which red pad, because I was using the LC HydroTech crimson "ultra finish" and the finish it was leaving was FAR from Ultra.

There you go, a no cut pad and a super fine finish polish. :xyxthumbs:

I was going to suggest 3M Ultrafine and LC Blue, Red or Gold pad.

He was having a problem with the wipedown though, not the actual paint finishing (at least thats how I was understanding it).
