Before the show started, I shared Autogeek.net (our online store), and AutogeekOnline.net, (our detailing discussion forum), with Bill to give him some background on our company and what we do in the car appearance industry.

This is Bill's 1965 Riviera GS - This car has a 425 Buick Nailhead Big Block Engine with a Turbo 400 and an Air Ride Suspension. The hood is custom fit by Bill and is off a 1967 Camaro.

All customizations, bodywork and paintwork were performed by Bill himself...

Bill mentions the steering wheel in the episode...

This is Bill's 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible - This low riding custom has a 302 Small Block mated to a C6 Automatic Transmission with an Air Ride Suspension and Lakes Pipes.

This is Bill's Rat Rod 1935 Chevrolet Truck - The engine is a 302 Small Block Chevy with custom fitted Hemi Valve Covers. It has a Turbo 350 and a Ford 9" Rearend.

I love the Hand Grenade Shifter Lever and the hand poking out of the dash to hold your cold beverage!
BillCrowder014.jpg

Bill's two sidekicks are Duke and Rocky named after John Wayne and Sylvester Stallone, he says a couple of serious business guard dogs need some high power series names. These two buddies were pretty cool and as friendly as can be...
BillCrowder015.jpg

This is Bill's Rad Rod 1930 Model 2-Door Sedan - The engine is a 454 Big Block Chevy with a 6:71 Blower backed-up by a Turbo 400 Transmission and a Ford 9" Rearend.

This is the 32" Lokar Nostalgia Double Bend Shifter and the same one I ran in my 1966 Chevrolet Milk Truck. Very cool shifters... highly recommended...

If you look to the right of Bill and I you can see Ted Jones giving directions to Brendan the Producer and also the #1 Cameraman.

This is Bill's 1957 Oldsmobile 4-door Hardtop Super 88 - The engine is a 350 Small Block Chevy with a Turbo 350 Transmission. This lowrider has a Continental Kit, Air Ride Suspension and Electric Doors. I somehow didn't get any still shots of this car but am working on getting a few more pictures from his daughter.

Of course, being a "Car Guy", Bill has tons of spare parts hanging on the wall like this set of old rusty headers...
BillCrowder024.jpg

Here's a pair of Teardrop Spotlights next to a Skull... the perfect addition to anyone's garage decor...
BillCrowder025.jpg

Spare engines in just about every corner of the garage...
BillCrowder026.jpg

Valve Covers, Radiator Shell, Intake Manifolds complete the "Car Guy Look"...
BillCrowder027.jpg

I'm not sure what this is but I'm guess a good luck demon?
BillCrowder028.jpg

This was actually a picture on his wall and another car from his past...
BillCrowder029.jpg

Here's Rocky and Duke...
BillCrowder030.jpg

It was a real pleasure meeting Bill and learning about his cars and the stories behind them... he's a real nice guy, talanted craftsman and super "Car Guy".
BillCrowder032.jpg

And of course, the old rusty Esso Gas Pump sitting outside was really cool...
BillCrowder033.jpg

We all wish...
BillCrowder034.jpg

Here's how the show ends... when Bill tells me to pay the tenants... he was referring to Rocky and Duke!

If you're ever in the Shelbyville area, be sure to stop by Bill's Diner and say "Hi" and while you're there enjoy some good down home cooking! The food is EXCELLENT!

Great collection of cars !!!

I agree John... I found after working at cars shows like GoodGuys, World of Wheels, Portland, Tacoma and Seattle Roadster Shows, that after 2-3 days of looking at blinding shine... to then look at satin black paint was easy on the eyes...

I like Rat Rods too... kind of had one but only because it never got to paint...

Pulled out the stock 390 Cadillac Big Block engine and 4-speed Hydro-Matic and installed a 468 Big Block Chevy backed up by a Turbo 400, the 390 was no slouch as anyone that's driven a 59 or 1960 Caddy knows... but like the saying goes... there's no substitute for cubic inches...

Hi Richard,

Yeah Bill really has a cool collection of different types of rides, I really liked the 1935 Chevy Truck, wish I would have taken a picture of the truck bed.

I talked to Bill yesterday and he says he's got new project in the works but wouldn't elaborate, I'm confident I'll have a chance to see both him, his dogs and his new project sometime in the future...

And the food at his diner is one of the best kept secrets of Shelbyville...

Thanks for sharing the channel. I get asked all the time in person, via e-mail, Private Messages, etc.

What channel is it on?

And there's no one single answer or channel I can state because there's multiple different TV providers and they all have their own different channels for different programs.

There's a number of TV guide type websites, to date I've had real good luck with LocateTV.com for finding air times and channels.

Show debuts in about 3 hours!

:)

Getting to watch it on in 6 minutes her in Arkansas on fox sports. I'm excited to see this

Congratulations Mike, on your first episode!
I thought you did a fine job for your premier show. Good subject matter and the pace of the show went well. I don't know if it's in the show's intended content, but expanding your "instructional" time a bit would be something to add some interest. Considering that the show did not shamelessly hawk sponsor's products all through the show like some of the others on the air, showing a bit more of your detailing talent as well as exposing some of the general public to AG and the AG products couldn't hurt. Looking forward to future episodes.

Bill

Great show Mike! Very interesting and really neat cars!! :dblthumb2:

That old boy is quite the character! Some cool old rides too.

Enjoyed the show & the cars. Another car care / product segment wouldn't be overdoing it IMO.

Agreed, a little more time on the detailing couldn't hurt. I gotta say that not doing it in HD does such a disservice to the cars and the detailing segment. I suppose shooting in SD to view on an SD sat/cable box on an SD CRT TV would look ok, but on an HD box, HD channel and an HD TV, it looked rough. Still, off to a good start! Congrats, Mike!
