Ok, what is the best longest lasting trim restorer?

I have tried many items companies claim will last for months but its always far from the truth! They all look great once first applied but never last. I'm looking for something that will last for a minimum of 3-4 months. I want to offer this as a service but will not charge someone for something that will only last a few weeks. I'm looking for proven experience not hear say please. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
UTTG definately last and it doesn't run. It isn't as dark as some others but it is the only product I have found that truly last without running. I feel it give the look of brand new trim as others darken trim beyond what it was new. It works very well on chrome also( I can thank CEE DOG for that tip)
 
I've read up on trim restorers and I have to agree about C4 without trying any yet. Gtechniq C4 looks promising and all the others require you to constantly apply or do not get the trim dark enough. Just my opinion :)

I have Cquartz but I dont know if that will darken my trim? I know it will protect. Can anyone be so kind to answer this?
 
I've been looking for something that lasts and doesn't run as well. I picked up some UTTG and I also was sent a sample from RaggTopp that I was told won't run as well.

Both of these items will be tested on the tonnoeu cover of my Avalanche which is hard textured plastic.

I've tried Adams VRT, 303 Aerospace, Detail King Back to Black, etc etc...All of which ran. So, I'll be doing a write up hopefully soon on both these products and their durability.
 
Well I'm going to chime in here and recommend Refinish Restorer. Sea Jay....if you check the Avalanche web site and search that product or do a Google for it and hit the Avalanch entries you will find that most of the testing is done and bar none it gets the most favorable responses. Now, seeing that I've been using it on all the plastic pieces that are black and believe you me trust me when I say you won't be disappointed. My car has never looked better and I haven't had to dress those pieces since I did them 2 years ago. I do the fender well liners with it and its just a matter of hosing them out for clean and they return to black and shiney. I will say that because the wells get abused a redress here once a year might be called for. Plastic wiper arms are a thing of the past with no deterioration due to loss of UV protection. The stuff is expensive and the process can be long (12 hour) cure time, but well worth it. All this in my opinion of course.

Thanks! I'll have to look into that. For now i'm going to test out the two products I have and we'll see how it goes from there. Definitely check that product out though.
 
Refinish Restorer looks interesting. The PDF I found online says that it has a yellow tint to it so it should not be applied to white or light colors. It also says do not use it on rubber. This stuff sounds a lot like the products people are using over in the headlight restoration thred, where the clear is being sprayed. This might just be a urethane?
 
I have given that a thought about the headlights. Haven't tried yet. When you use it the color is brown. I applied to all with a 2x2 cauze pad instead of a sponge as the sponge absorbs alot. A little goes along way. Did my neighbors Avalanche with it 2 years ago and it still looks great and he keeps it outside. I will say that the top panels on it do need to be retouched as those are made with a different type plastic than the rest of the package.
 
UT&TGP. Long-lasting, does not run. You will not be disappointed.
 
I just detailed an avalanche, wow I need to charge more for all that trim. LOL. Thanks for the product tips. I will order some and sell it to that customer on his next visit.

Thankfully my avalanche doesn't have the cladding on the sides like a lot of them do. I only have to worry about the rear section. But it's still a lot.
