Review: Kwazar Mercury Pro + 1 Liter Spray Bottle

If they would fit in the detail bag holsters that AutoGeek sells I would by a dozen of them

OK, you've talked me into it! I've placed my order for 3 and looking forward to getting them next Tuesday. I use spray bottle extensively for our mobile washing and really get tired of having to deal with the sprayers. Hoping this will make things easier for us....

These bottles are the BOMB!!!:awesome:

Great review Legacy! I also have 4 of these and I love them! The only problem I've run across late last year was one of the triggers was getting stuck. I soaked it in some warm soapy water and it seems to be back to normal.

Hey SeaJay, what chemical did you have in the bottle that was sticking? Was is a very basic (pH wise) chemical, like an APC? I ask because I have diluted simple green in one of mine, and it happens to be the only one that sticks a bit. Glad to hear that a soak in warm soapy water may relieve this issue.

I wonder if they would work with a 1:1 optibond mix? I know the spraymasters do not!

The only things I think I would own one of these for is for my waterless wash or carpet cleaner. Nice review though! :dblthumb2: I got the chance to use one of these at DF when I helped Mike do a quick waterless wash on Harvey (Max's Ford Falcon). Very nice product, I must say.

Did any of your sprayers come with a liquid in the line?

I bought the six pack and picked 2 red 2 yellow and 2 blue. The blue is the only color with the liquid. I think it's water. No smell and clear.

Great review! Very well written with pictures and videos. I want to pick up a few next time there a 15% off.

i have to agree great review write up pics and vids. the only thing im interested about is the dual action as in it release product when pulled and released. seems like it would a bother when using something like glass cleaner when u dont want a lot of product. maybe i should have looked before i post but do they make these in when u pull is the only way it releases product (i guess thats what im use to). But even so i'll be more than willing to learn and pay the price for them bc of when my bottles get tipped over they leak product (thus losing money)

Nope, I just picked up 3 more and no liquid in the line (but none of them were blue)

Just got one of these 1 liter bottles from the 15% off sale and there was some liquid in the line, strange.

It was a blue one. Hope it's just water......

Haven't had a chance to use it yet, for the $, I hope I like it!

WOW, what a review. If I worked for marketing at Kwazar, I don't think I could have done a better job. I've been slightly annoyed at the generic sprayers that keep on breaking or dripping, but just considered it cost of doing business. You got me thinking I need to step it up.

I have two blues, one came from AG the other from a different vendor. Both had liquid in the tube. I don't have any other colors so:dunno:

Bill,

What an outstanding review! :props:

Well thought out, nicely documented with both photos and videos!!

I like you, am so tired of my spray bottles leaking, waisting product, and leaving messes. My biggest complaint regarding the Kwarzar spray bottles is their cost.. At $17.00 each I'd have to lay out about $300 to replace my existing ones....

I may try a couple to see it it's worth the cost as they are a damn nice bottle,,,

Great review! I just picked up a few of these and wow do I love them. They make life so much easier. I use them for APC+, OPC, and ONR qd right now. The rest of the stuff I dont spray that often so I can live without 100 bottles but it doesnt mean that I want to.

Great review, thanks!

I may have to try these when my cheapos from Sam's Club bite the dust. Would be good for QD and APC. I like the more strength, no leak, color code, and less tip. The cost would be justified if they last.

Are they bigger diameter than the usual spray bottles?

At the base they are a bit bigger, which also makes it harder to tip over. They are a bit taller, and the upper portion is larger as well. Here are some pictures and measurements.

Prop's Bill for the review :props:
I think i'll pick up a few to try out.

Now only if they could be on the next BOGO

interesting sprayer! my question would be, does it produce a fine enough mist for say megs ASD used for the fender wells, to reduce/eliminate drips?

They can put out a great volume of liquid. I use one for wet sanding.

It puts out the finest spray of any bottel I have used. It is very light and fine so that it will blow around with the air currents. Not sure if that helps, I have not tried ASD.
