Looking for any pointers to a wheel cover that one can hold over their wheel/rim while applying tire dressing. I've seen them before but I'm failing on using search on several sites.

thanks

save yourself the money...find an old trashcan plastic lid..take a pair of sheetmetal sheers..use a cardboard piece to make a template the size of your wheel diameter..and transfer that with a black marker to the lid and cut it out. Handle is already "built-in"

That's a good idea, mine are 18" , getting tired of wiping off tire dressing after I apply.

:)

:iagree: I've cut a cardboard box to size before and made two slits in the center. It turned our to be to cumbersome for my taste though

I just through a coat of wax on them now and tell the ppl their wheels have been sealed ;)

I fail....Throw ^

I bought a Wheel Shield and I used it...once? I prefer to use a foam applicator and not worry about wheel shields OR overspray.
