Presidents have no power without house reps in their favor anyways. With Trump following a Democratic president...he'd be involved in a house with Democratic majority.

Assuming the house stays Democratic majority...which it probably would with someone like Trump possibly to take the presidency. He would have to wait two years to try and get the house with reps in his favor. By then...his first term would be up. You really think Trump would serve another two years?

And he's a republican...I think that's obvious. He walks around acting like he doesn't know his party...all the while wearing a red tie, ha. Republican all the way.

The people that print American money MUST be governmentally ran right?!?!?!? Nope, it is privately owned. So every dollar that is printed has interest on it ...... what controls anything? President is just a puppet controlled by the government. But after having Obama and hasn't done sh*t. I promise to never ever waste my time in voting as well as my father. But never in a million chances I knew Mr. Trump would be interested in running for president. He got my vote and hopefully he does run.


I really admired him a lot. So this would be very interesting if he does become president. I don't honestly understand how can people focus in him being a celebrity than mentioning and recognized him as a very successful business man.

He would be the last person I would vote for. This is it, maybe this is what America needs. I want to see what a very successful business man, with a lot of respect from many people and a lot of power can do. If he does literally change America to become stronger and wealthier he will mark history for ever!! If he doesn't then obviously is the end of the USA if he can't do it what make you think someone else can.

I think he's an ego maniac but his view of our big business giving our jobs to China is running us into the ground is dead on.
 
Like anyone who runs for president he says some good things and some bad things. If he could actually accomplish half of what I think are the good ideas, he would have my vote a hundred times. (I live near Chicago...I can do that :props:)

For the record, the good things are IMO...

Getting jobs back from overseas.
Closing U.S. military stations all over the world and sealing our borders.
Reducing the size of our government.
Get chinese products the hell out of our country.
Make the U.S. the manufacturing powerhouse it once was.
 
MAN, I ALWAYS miss the good political threads. One of my bosses and I where just discussing something similar to this at work.

Trump as a GOOD president: no.
A lesser of two evils between what we got: yes.

I would still love to see Huckabee run against the Marxist though.
 
Now the fool is actually taking credit for the president releasing his birth certificate. Forget giving him an apology... No can't do that. This moron is now questioning the president's ability to be accepted into harvard... Implied his place in on the basketball court not the whitehouse I'm sick of these racial overtones by trump and the rest of the right wing nuts who somehow have convinced mindless fools that the president is an alien and that he can't possibly be a harvard grad or that he is better off playing basketball. Would a white president be treated this way? I hope the gas and oil party keep this up instead if working to solve problems. It will endure they get soundly defeated in 2012. And this whole thing about "we are going to take the country back". You think that's not racially implied? People aren't as stupid as the republicans think.

If you honestly think that Hillary Clinton would have been treated differently by the conservative movement if she was in office doing the same thing as Obama, you really have no clue what the movement is all about. Of course in that situation, the left would just whine that the right is bashing women and is expressing gender bigotry. In either event, the left has a card that they ALWAYS play once the right comes out in opposition. Gas and Oil party huh, special interest plays both sides of the fence my friend as they don't know which party is going to be in power from election to the next. Maybe you should do a little research and see exactly who in congress has benefited from big oil as well as the switch, or should I say forceful move by executive order via regulatory agencies, to "green" energy or just go back to watching MSNBC.
 
I should also say that I will not be voting for Trump in any primaries. However, if it does come down to Trump vs Obama I will do what I did with McCain and vote for the lesser of two evils. I'm just hoping someone like Herman Cain will get into the race. Successful businessman that I seem to agree with on many issues.
 
On a side note, the left has their own beloved red-headed stepchild to deal with as it appears Nader is talking about making another primary challenge against Obama. 2012 will definitely be interesting! :)
