How much for your lastest tank of gas

Well the pumps shut me off at $90 around where I am. Last time I got gas (few days ago) it was $3.96 a gallon and I have a 26 gallon tank. This would be why I traded my truck in and bought the HHR SS. Way better gas mileage (19 city and 29 highway).

Gas is just out of control. I don't know how construction companies and those that have to drive large trucks or vans all day can afford it. Never mind the people who own boats!

The pump shut off at $100 because I used a credit card, but the tank wasn't topped off. I have a 30.5 gallon tank in the truck. Diesel is $4.19 where I'm at, and got almost 24 gallons in. Gotta pay to play.

Im between 70-80 for regular lol. But gears and a few other goodies going in on Tuesday for some better gas mileage :)

$71.29 in my wife's Pathfinder. That will get her about 320 miles worth of driving. It breaks out to about 22 cents per mile.

Has anyone else noticed their car not getting the mileage it use to? A friend of mine blames it on the new ethanol mixture

Ethanol has less potential energy per unit than gasoline, so you have to burn more of it to get the same amount of work. Power and economy go down as more ethanol is blended with gasoline.

I bought it a week or two ago at $3.93. Got around 10 so $39.30 ish. gallons, Two days later it was $4.17 and now it's around $4.19. Trying to make this tank last as long as possible :(.

Some of you guys have gas for $3.65???

Gas just hit $3.99 here in MN for 87 octane.

Seems highly familiar to a few years ago when gas hit $4.29 and then Obama was elected and all of a sudden gas was at $2.xx

Little fishy maybe?

As for how much it costs to fill my tank.. My tank is a 16.9 gallon. I put in between $30-$40 and haven't completely filled my tank in over 6 months. Ridiculous.

I don't even bother to look at gas prices, just swipe the credit card and wait for the pump to stop. I have to have gas and can't do anything about the price. I don't like to fret about stuff that is out of my control. My little Audi doesn't drink much anyway.

Your friend is right to blame Ethanol. It's true, Ethanol has less energy than the good stuff. It takes more "E85" to produce the same power, significantly reducing your mileage. To counter this, adjust driving habits accordingly or enjoy your regular driving habits more than normal. What really sucks is that I've heard that older cars can't handle the E85, it disintegrates rubber seals, plastics etc. not sure of the truth in it though.

Here's a nice one though, J/K this sucks too. Ethanol emits acetaldehyde, an EPA listed carcinogen and standard emissions-testing does not measure it. Do we know what Carcinogens do? yeah, cause the big C. Just like everything else in the modern world (and in nature too).

Just paid $45 to fill up my S2000 today. A little over 10 gallons at $4.17 a gal.

$55 on thursday and the low gas light was even't on yet when I went to fill up. Granted, it was Shell Premium, but at least my car gets pretty good gas mileage

Prices here in Ohio got as high as $4.15 a gallon, I was lucky enough to get it for $3.99.
