meguiars quik interior detailer discontinued?

What don't you like about Meguir's? I think some products in their detailing line are cheap and good such as the Glass Cleaner and APC+

It all started for me with the Hot Shine sprayers. I musta have bought 20 bottles of that stuff and you couldn't get the first spray out before they failed. Meguiars was aware of this issue, but continued to ship this product out because they didn't want to eat the cost of the junk sprayers. They would rather pass that to their consumer

Then you have their polisher. It seemed to me there were alot of failures there to. Then, they stayed on backorder for over 6 months. I guess all the returned units depleted their supply

Then you have the DA MF System. What a gigantic failure that was. They announce this system in September and then can't deliever untill February because they don't have the boxes to ship them in. On top of that it took 12 years for them to mimmick a design that was already on the market. To make it even worse, they failed to deliever a product that was better then what was already avalible. Then to ad insult to injury, they ran out of these pads, put them on backorder (familiar with this term yet) then took over a month to deliever

To me Meguiars reminds me of the Hot Chick Syndrome. They were told one to many times they were the best thing ever, and it went to their head. Now look at the mess their in

Basically Meguiars underestimated their competition and now its cost them BIG TIME!!!

Wow are you guys quick to jump on the Meg's-bashing bandwagon. It IS possible that some ingredient used in this product comes from Japan where the factory was destroyed or disabled by the earthquake/tsunami. I don't see you jumping on Ford for not having the colors anymore that use that pigment from the destroyed factory. Maybe we can just wait a few more hours until there is some official word from AG or Meg's about this before we all jump to conclusions. Meghan?

And it's not going unnoticed.

I wasn't aware of this rule. I didn't know we couldn't express are opinion about a company. I thought this is what a forum was for?

If my post offended you, delete it

Sorry about that, but it disappoints me to see the direction meguiars has gone

Flash,

I would imagne if you removed the opinions, and simply stated facts then that would be OK??? I don't really see an issue with someone presenting facts that can be found elsewere on the web and letting others take from that what they want.

Am I wrong here??

im talking about the gallon, meguiars d-line quik interior detailer. is it discontinued?

what other quik interior detailers are comparable?
OK, from the horses mouth...
Mike Stoops from MOL confirmed, QID in gallon form is NOT discontinued. Just sold out.

thats odd, the place i was buying it from couldnt get it to me because they said it was "discontinued." i dunno wat to think now. i guess time will tell:P

I'm more inclined to believe the manufacturer than the distributor, but that's just me. Why would a manufacturer spend all this money on R&D, marketing, packaging, etc, to discontinue a products 3 months after it was released, doesn't make sense now does it? You can read the conversation here:

There was no R&D involved in offering the gallon size QID -- the product was/is 100% identical to the OTC product. :xyxthumbs:

Well, it's not discontinued and this is coming from Michael at MOL. It seems that there is alot of demand on the forum about it so that is probably why it is out of stock every where. It's like Furby and Poke'mon!
