2007 Solstice CQuartz'd

Wow, from the moment I saw the first photo of the untouched car I knew this thread was going to be one I was gonna enjoy.

LOVE seeing the final product! A turnaround like this always makes me want to go and detail our cars!!!... pity I can't use my right arm much for a few weeks as I dislocated it ice skating recently...bummer

You bought those wheels back from dead, they can't look any better than they do now! :applause:

outstanding post again.how is that ultrafina to work with?
Thank you John! My buddy Heath (Cooter) was kind enough to send me a sample to try out. I had only used Menzerna before that. This is direct competition to 85rd. On this car, it was great. It was easy to use, broke down well and had a great working time too. I would buy this over the Menzerna if it were cheaper. It worked well with the blue B & S pad in this case. Definitely gonna play with it more!

Thanks so much Matt, I appreciate your kind words. I was excited when I saw the car too!! I knew it was going to be a dramatic turnaround and was looking forward to seeing it evolve. I was very pleased at the outcome.
As far as your shoulder goes, I completely understand! I have had 2 knee surgeries on the same knee in the last 3 years and had to sit 1/2 of the season out last year. I was not a happy camper! Take care of yourself and give your body the time it needs to heal. My customers were kind enough to wait for me. I'm sure yours will be as well.

Very awesome work Richy!
You are a source of inspiration for excellence.

Wow Richy, that was one seriously trashed out ride. What are the chances of the owner taking care of it now that you have it looking so good?

Wow, those are some very kind words. Thank you. I'm just a guy who enjoys buffing paint. I'm happy to pass along some knowledge along the way as it has been done to me as well.

Pfix, I am hopeful that with the addition of the CQ, it will be easier for them to do so. I gave them new grout sponge I had as well.
