I have a customer with a cigarette burn on his passenger seat. It's a light gray fabric seat. The burn is the exact size of the cigarette tip and it burned all the cloth except the mesh woven part at the bottom. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Firsr I clean or cut off the dark spots with an sharp razor. Then I usually carefully shave off some material from the underside or hidden part of the seat and kinda bunch it up. Then superglue it to where the burn is. After dried then it trim to match. Not perfect by any means but after some practice, you can make it barely noticeable.

Perhaps you can also visit a local upholstery shop and do a repair ??

I don't know any around here, and certainly non that I would send a customer too, plus it would be nice to make money off of the deal.

Genius!!! The seat has kind of a weird pattern but if I could match it that would work perfectly enough for the customer.
