Microfiber towel packing suggestion

Everytime I don't prewash my new M/F's, when I use them to apply QD, the moist lint eventually gets wet and rolls up in to hard, tiny, round detail boogers which are much harder than wet cardboard.

One of the reasons I use a M/F towel is because they pick up contaminants. Then I wash them so that I can use them to pick up more contaminants. That is what they are for. ;)

If I can get quality towels without paying for added overhead (plastic). I feel lucky.

So, if you don't tell anyone about the cardboard I won't tell anyone that you don't wash the loose fibers out of your M/F's. :D :D

Sorry about the tongue in cheek rant. Humor was intended. I got a system message that said I hadn't posted for a while. I think Megan did it, knowing old guys can get away with being crabby.

I agree the towels should be in plastic. I usualy buy large quanity of towels at a time so they are in plastic, but if they weren't and they had bits of cardboard in them, I'd be upset too.
 
Since I pretty much prewash my stuff I don't care. I think what should be suggested is that all of PBMA groups sell pads that are in sealed plastic/some sort of wrap. I know John took care of me but my heart kind of sank when I got my HydroTech pads with hard little beads imbedded in them:(

I thought the HT pads were in plastic? What size are yours? My 6.5" came in plastic

I think that sending the MF's and Correction Pads for that matter in plastic bags is a better solution, as I had issues also. That way nothing can get contaminated at AG or in route. My pads were in brown bags just like the MF towels.......

But that's just my opinion.
 
Mine came loose in a brown bag. I too am particular about the condition when it is packaged among other items. Even after washing my MF towels, I inspect them. I found one had some imbedded particulate after I removed it from the wash. Could have caused unnecessary abrasion.

Well, AG is pretty good at listening to its customers when there is an issue, especially one that Many people are experiencing. Hopefully there will be a change. I'm particular at how my items arrive.
 
Another vote for careful packaging. The AG customers are car care perfectionist. They should expect us to be OCD about the tools that we use to be OCD about our cars.
