Some GLAZE questions...

well even when my car is perfectly polished (soft black paint), I use XMT glaze and it is my favorite step of the process besides waxing because it makes a noticeable difference even on top of the polishing.

IMO, glaze is always good unless you want a rock solid base for sealants.

I used RMG and Souveran today. It looks great.

I used to glaze a clean finish a while ago. To me it was pointless.
The original glazes were meant to show off a wet look for shows. It only lasts a few days, and it was made primarily for the older enameled and lacquer finishes that had no clear coat over them.
I believe in a good sealant followed by a good carnuba is the best you can do for our urethane paints.
