Yeah the short hair isn't available in the usa, but can be ordered from the uk. I've been buying and trying out more uk stuff lately. I blame darren for this.

Umm, who is Darren? Where do you order from in the UK? I've ordered from Ultimate Finish in the UK once. Shipping was faster than most places in the USA. I think they use DHL. Stuff was well packed and arrived perfect.

-A new Meguiar's backing plate for my rotary, old one is about 10 yrs old and the velcro finally started to seperate, new one feels much nicer.
-Meguiar's compounding pad to replace one that had an unfortunate incident (I have many more, but I like keeping even numbers, and fresh pads are always nice:xyxthumbs

I just received an order with the BF Midnight Sun detail spray and I agree it smells and works very nice :xyxthumbs:

Yeah I figured I might as well get the other two books I didn't have so I could have the full collection , already had Art of detailing. Heard so many good things about rennys book, I already scanned through a little and all I can say is wow.

Read the description of the product. It is not some cheap bulk glass cleaner, and its main purpose is to reinforce Opti-Glass protection. It can also serve as a cleaner and glass sealant in one product. I would have loved that gift.

I agree with Rock. Every bit of it.
Also a note about the Opti Clean & Protect, i bought the small bottle right when it was released. I notice no improvement on my windshield, and not to mention, it smears alot and takes more wipe to buff off completely.

I sounded more dissapointed than I am, just really would of liked to see something like BI in there. No complaints though for free. and everything I bought I needed so no biggie

I must be getting slow. This package sat in my mailbox for two days before I remembered I ordered it.
This is what a man uses to open a package:
Just what I need (like a hole in the head) more towels:
But these towels are "different". One side is blue and one side is grey (all the same towel):
They have silk banding. I use these for rinseless washes
They are 700 gsm:
But gsm describe the weight of the towel based on a certain area, its only a 2 dimensional description. As you can see, 605 gsm towels from the same vendor or slightly "fluffier" or less dense.
But, these new towels seem pretty nice. As nice as the green ones. The big benefit for me is the dual colors, as it may come in handy for rinse-less washes where you don't re-dip them in the bucket.
Putting them to sleep with some of the others:
I'm done buying towels for(now)ever.

I like the 700s. use them for waterless washes. Need to get some of the green ones some day but they have been sold out. Got some of the red/grey 600s though and they are nice. I see AGO carries the 700s now too, at least they look the same.
