Poorboys for headlight restoration?

Never thought of that. Def gonna buy some discs then. Do any actual stores(Pepboys, Home Depot etc) carry velcro backplates/sanding discs?

I think pepboys might have them...been a long time since I actually looked though so I could be wrong.

If I can't discs/backing plates locally, I'll end up ordering it online(here or someplace a bit closer).

BTW: Anyone know if Meguiar's 105/205 are similar to SSR1 or SSR2.5 ? I don't want to order the Meguiar's and find out the PB stuff I have will do the same thing.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I was wondering what you charge for this service?

EVERYONE at my office has asked me to do this for them and I thought of charging about $10 per vehicle. Is this too much? Too little?

BTW, how did those products work out for you?

^^ I would charge a little more then that. Personally I would not do it for less then $30 (maybe $20 if its a smoking hot girl and she is into me). Just the cost of the stuff is what would dictate my price. I am a novice with headlights (have only done about 4-5 sets, my neighbors asked me to do theirs) and it takes me about 10 min per headlight. Some of these guys here can probably do it in half the time. So time-wise its quick and easy however price wise it can get up there. I do not use kits like these guys (not sure how they compare to what I have used) but I just use a few different grits of sandpaper then I get some plastic restore stuff and use a buffing wheel on a cordless drill to bring back the clarity. It would cost me about $4 or so maybe (that paper eats you up because it gets clogged with grime and such).

Good info! I guess I'll be charging less for all the hot girls because, you know, they're all into me....
