2011 Black Lexus - Polished and CQuartz

Hi Dave,

How you been? I still wanna get with you so you can show me how to use a rotary. Did you get wacked by the storms? Like I said in the post, Bonnie and I got away cheap, unfortunately our neighbors didn't.

The Lexus was a bear to do. If I recall, it didn't look that bad when you saw it, but the dealership couldn't resist doing a wash and wax when Bonnie took it in for the free oil change last month even tho I told 'em not to touch it. You shoulda seen it - nasty swirls and hairlines all over. They musta washed and dried with 50 grit. I was pizzed.

Anyway, the children didn't really bother me, I been on the 'net a looong time. And let's face it, I'm a noob so they're just sooo way cooler than I am and the ultimate in detailing excellence that cars just shine themselves in the aura of their awesomeness. I hope I grow up to be just like them.

Drop me a PM, we need to get together, bro.

Edited to add: Stop by and see the Lexus. CQuartz is pretty impressive stuff. When we talked the coatings were just becoming available. I think you'll like it for a hi end detail. I'm very impressed.

:laughing::laughing::righton::applause::o
The storms passed all around us. On my way home that night I saw hail laying on all the roads and trees downed all over the place but when I turned onto our street to my surprise, there weren't even any leaves on the road, no shingles laying about in the yard. I was sure there would be some destruction but there was none.:dblthumb2:

I'd like to stop by and see the Lexus. I have to visit my Mother soon in Carlisle so I'll try to stop by then. I'll shoot you a PM before coming over.

Craig, I drove by your place today but couldn't remember which house was yours. I went to turn around and saw my friends outside of their home by the radio station so I stopped there for a while. They told me that those storms broke their large tree in half and the top half landed directly on both of their cars totaling both of them.:awman::cry::wow:

If you would, please PM me your address again. PM sent.

I am not raining on his parade.

Im a auto detailer. high end. I detail lambos, ferraris, porsche, aston martin, bentleys, Audi R8's, vette z06's, Nissan GTR, Lexus, BMW, Mercedes etc..

Ive done all muti-color cars.. yes, Black is hard to get clean as whistle, then after an HR, it intends to get dirty the quickest.

You prolly had defects, saps on that new car? correct?

Im not dissing on your work. You did a marvelous job! A+

Try a car with bird #### stains, defects in paint, swirlmarks galore, deep scratches- in order to wet sand.. Much harder and takes more time then New car prep.

 It WASN'T an older car, it was a car he did. Period. And he did a great job at that!

Sorry you missed me. I also wanna show you what UTTG will do. I finally got the time to do the wheels and tires. I use DP Wheel Glaze for the rims. I freakin' love that stuff; lasts for like 3 - 4 weeks. Ditto with the UTTG that CeeDog talked me into. Props to CD, that stuff is amazing. I did the Lexus wheel wells with it 3 weeks ago and still has them black. UTTG ain't cheap, but well worth it for nicer cars. For my RAV I still use DP Tire Gel. Very nice stuff but doesn't last as long or gloss quite as much as UTTG. Not that UTTG is sealant level gloss, just a bit blacker and glossier than the DP. Prolly more like WG.

Looks great I really need to get some CQ and OC
