Hey folks, my name is Don, how are things? I am the detail manager of a busy car dealership, but have been in the industry for over 20 years... And man it has changed!

I haven't been around here long enough to know about the change, but welcome. BTW feel free to skip over any threads that have dealership bashing in them :)
 
Dealership bashing can't be any worse then I've heard before... I used to take part in it myself!

The auto industry is changing fast and the best way to stay up on the detailing aspect is to belong to a detailing discussion forum. So welcome aboard...

Welcome Don. Maybe you can be the start of a general change of view within the dealership community. Most US dealerships seem to view detailing as a cost center rather than a potential profit center.
 
Hi Don, and, welcome to AGO.

I've noticed there are quite a number of Canadian members here at AGO...the search function can put in you touch with them---they mention the difficulty, including the costs of shipping from the US to Canada---perhaps, in your position, you may be able to advise otherwise? :)

Thank you for the greetings, I look forward to helping any way I can and you guys have already given me some ideas, I will see what I can put together on detail shops being a profit center rather then a money pit, I will also reach out to other Canadians, and definitely I will be getting in touch with the admin about the name! Thanks again guys
