Sheepskin Wash Pad Impressions...

The thickness of these things differ greatly. I had one that was very thin, but another one was as thick as a mother sheepskin wash mitt.

Are these not real sheepskin?

Interesting, that is news to me. Thanks for the info.

I thought they were real sheepskin. Thats what the page says. What makes you think otherwise?

Just remember, animals are not uniform like synthetic materials.... Just imagine a good cut of meat vs. a bad cut of meat.

I would think they are too. They smell like..dog treats..or something. I just saw talk about synthetic sheep skin so I just wanted to make sure.

I'm not sure if you can tell, but the thinnest is the top one. You can feel both of your finger rub together on that one. The last one you can't. I would say they differ since they are real sheepskin and one side might come from a different sheep?

That all makes sense to me. I was thinking the same thing.

I'm sure they are genuine sheepskin or AG would not advertise them as such. Being natural sheepskin the thickness will vary. Like humans, some have a lot of hair and some don't. But I have not seen a bald sheep yet. Im the MAN

I like it a lot compared to a mitt, but its just to darn small. If someone was looking to purchase it I suggest getting the 3/14.99(?) deal and not the single mitt.

You know, Corey, they say the lamb is the closest tasting flesh to that of humans.:props:

 Ted, I hope you can tell me thats not really true! I dare not google this!

 Upon further thought who was it that tasted both side by side? A lion perhaps? :dunno:

Bear is one of the best thing I've honestly ever eaten

 Upon further thought who was it that tasted both side by side and wrote this review?

Don't worry, I don't nor ever have, and do not endorse eating people.:dblthumb2:

Just something I remember my culinary teacher saying in college, we were cooking lamb that night.

Sorry I may have hijacked this thread Mark.

I will try these pads though.

I hear bears when dressed right are the closest thing to human flesh..

with that I should make my exist from this thread :bolt:

I love the thumb-less sheepskin wash mitts! Not sure I like the idea of a "pad" vs. a mitt though...I would think it would be harder to hold on to....no? Care to comment Mark? :)

Do these have some weight to them?

Been using the lowes grout sponge lately. Since they don't weigh anything, I find myself putting some pressure behind them, maybe too much pressure. Whereas with a mitt, I just use the weight of the mitt for the most part to do a pass.

Chad I never put my hand in my mitts and have no problems holding on to it.

When wet yes, when dry not really.

I took a closer look at mine when I got home tonight and these really feel great. Extremely soft and seem to be the quality that Jim and Dwayne spoke of. I'm looking forward to putting these to paint on my next wash.

Sometimes I hold one corner of the pad and then sometimes I lightly put my hand on top of the pad. I really haven't used them enough to tell you what I really do. I need a better feel for them, but I really do like them and the price isn't bad! :props:

They are really soft, but after the first wash they don't feel anything like they did when they were in the brown bag. I'm still glad I got them though!
