My second client, don't have the tools to do the job!

A good advice i can give you / if you rfeally like & enjoy this job. And really want to do it as your main income job

every time you do a small or semi detail / or full detail
purchase something. Everytime you make money with this job. Get your self a brush / a one gallon of the product you like / in a few months you will have your own stock.

Try the weekend swap meet's / sometime's you find equipment in a good condition. And 1/2 the price

or try the carpet cleaner's shop / they always have use machines

i have 6 year's non stop purchasing equipment / tools / everything for my cleaning job's

belive me / you will se the difference!!
Good luck!!

A reasonable home depot / all purpose cleaner to use in mild stain seat's & carpet / the evergreen
you can even use it to clean the door panel's & dashboard in regular car's / not the fancy one's ok

hope it help's you

I am in Wheat Ridge (Denver suburb) If you ever want to come up I can go over how I clean carpets with you personally... Just let me know...

:applause:Way to go Chris! As Professor Mike Phillips always says; each one teach one. Well done.

Lol... I see it as getting someone started and helping accomplish dreams!

I teach my customers what I can when they want to know also that way it makes my job easier in the future when they bring the car back

I would love to! :p These forums really are awesome!

And thanks for the help everyone, he was very pleased with my work. I had originally asked $200 for the job (he wanted carpets done and engine bay cleaned on top of a full in and out detail+ wax) but I got beat out by the place he usually goes to which does it for $150, so I told him I could match them. Difference is they do more of a commercial grade detail lol.

When he got his car back he was amazed and had said multiple times that it looks like a new car :) I think his favorite part was the dressed wheel wells lol, definitely got a kick out of that.

And so without even asking he ended up paying me $200 anyways. Im the MAN

Thanks AutoGeek, couldn't have done it without ya.
