It's really to bad the cobra indigos went south....

Post a blackfire review on AGO, not the smartest thing to do!

There is another vendor that sells edgeless white towels for cheaper than the price of microfibertech.. I bought some and so far they feel and look the EXACT same as the orginal indigos (I have 5 of them) just that they are white not blue.

How are they not the same? The AG towels are called rolled edged and theirs are called hemmed.
I think Jim is referring to the edgeless white ones compared to the indigos, not the rolled edge ones. I could be wrong?

I wonder if they would unravel if I just cut the edges off?

I don't think they will completely unravel right away. What I found when I cut one of the old ones to make little applicators out of it was the edges of it just linted like crazy. Since I used them as disposable applicators I'm not sure what would happen over time. I did wash half the towel one time before cutting the rest of it into pieces and during that wash the edges linted or unraveled some. Long story short you won't be happy with the results of cutting off the edge if you want it as a towel.

I can understand AG not wanting competitors links posted but I would think non-AG product discussion would be beneficial. It shows products out there that are working well for other AG members.Possibly even products that AG could attain.
I'm sure the discussion on such products as (CarPro,Prima,ect..) helped influence AG to make the decision to bring them on board.(JMO)

I still have about 6 of the originals, and they're by far the best TRUE edgeless polishing cloths I've ever used. I've tried a few other brands(Adams, CG, Sonus) and they've all come up short! Bring back the old school indigos!!!!

HERE US! Stop cutting corners and MAKE THEM RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im sure the engineer who proposed the idea of wirecutting received a nice bonus check for saving a couple pennies per towel. MORON!!!! He clearly hasnt used them and probably has no idea what a swirl is.

But I have used these a few times and they suck! They have the absorbency of copy paper. Ur better off with the gold jr's from AG.

Absorbency isn't the reason those flat weave towels are generally used, is it?

I think you're missing the bigger picture with this.

Perhaps I chose the wrong word. But they basically smear waxes like souveran or ssII. The cobras don't smear. Sorry I can't think of a better term

I think they usually are used for tough residues like heavy polish or heavy (dry) wax, where thick nap just bunches up.
