Should I buy a carpet extractor or stick to my routine?

Would a good extractor have done the job the first time?

Possibly I will see what the carpets in my second job look like... I will try and do your method for one floor mat then mine for another... and see what the difference is...

Then I will spray some water on the one I did using your method (just hot water no chemicals and not saturating it) and see what comes out of the floor mat... (I hope they are kinda grungy it is an 07 Toy Highlander and she has kids)...

Is it alright if I post the pics on this thread of this little experiment?

Since I switch to GTechiq W2 for my APC, it comes clean right away, with scrubbing.

Vacuum, spray W2 (1:7) agitate, mist over with W2 again, rub with a towel.

Its the best way of cleaning carpets I have found yet. Adam's Polishes makes a carpet cleaner that supposed to work in the same way, but I haven't used it.

I have wanted to try this stuff but have yet to do so... I was reading about the Adams stuff also and it looks interesting...

Adam's stuff is a carpet cleaner only, W2 is a great APC and can by diluted to suit needs. I have seen on other forums that it makes a great window cleaner. I have a boat load of window cleaning stuff so I haven't tried it for that.
