After seeing this product released days ago, I knew this was something I needed to try. I see it as a cheaper version of Sonax wheel cleaner, but I've never used it. It was on back order from AutoGeek very quickly, so I placed my order with Griot's Garage and also purchased their foaming Finest Sprayer. The product is slightly murky looking, but has a pleasant cherry scent to it that lasted on my fingers hours later. Kinda a cough drop cherry scent. Not offensive at all.

The wheels in question

Spraying it on with the foaming sprayer, I felt something was amiss and my suspensions were confirmed by the end. This product foams with their regular Finest Sprayer, making the foaming sprayer redudent, and I think, it wastes too much product or I spray too much, but I really think it's the sprayer. So I would NOT use use their foaming sprayer with this product.

In any case, let's look at some pictures

This one is my favorite one. So much color to it.

As you can see, there is a bit of purple action from the product getting the iron, but there just isn't much iron from the brake pads to make it nice and purple as we've seen before.

And some afters

And two afters of the bucket.

So, would I buy this again? Probably so. Solely for the iron removing aspect of it, it's cheap for what it does and give you results you can see.

Thanks for reading

Its a shame you take such good care of your wheels because it looks like just a car wash soap would have cleaned those wheels up. I'm waiting to see how well it works on some nasty alum wheels.

Thanks for the quick review

Great to see the first review on this. Looks like an excellent product.

Thanks for the review! Did you mean a cheap version of Sonax and not Sonus?

You're right, soap would've taken care of them just fine but so far, I haven't had anything come across that's super dirty. I might have a Scion tC come in soon that's been on a road trip from Illinois to South Carolina recently, so I expect those to be dirty. I'll update if it comes through.

Correct, and I've edited the post accordingly.

Whenever I get my Griot's in I'll use it on my sister's 03 Ford Escape. Her wheels are nasty. I just ordered it tonight, so it might be a few days. She hasn't washed her escape since she got it over a year and a half ago. >.<

Thanks Kyle, I'll keep checking back for it.

Thank you for the review Kyle, Please wear nitrile gloves when using wheel cleaner. You will be glad you did in the long run. :dblthumb2:

Do the gloves matter since the cleaner is ph neutral?
